The Wizards will reportedly be "at the front of the line" to offer a contract to Dwight Howard once his buyout with the Nets is completed.

After sending away Marcin Gortat, the Wizards are in the market for a big man, and while not quite as athletic as he used to be, Howard would fit the mold of the "athletic big" that John Wall has been campaigning for. D12 made it through 81 games last season, putting in averages of 16.6 points, 12.5 rebounds and 1.6 swats per game on 55.5% shooting from the field and 57.4% from the stripe, and he should be able to flirt with similar numbers in Washington.

Free agent Treveon Graham is reportedly drawing interest from the Wolves, Pistons and Wizards.

Graham became an unrestricted FA when the Hornets declined to make a qualifying offer. He has roots in D.C. and could be an affordable addition for the cap-crunched Wizards, but won't have fantasy value no matter where he signs.

Nerlens Noel has reportedly narrowed his choices down to four teams: the Wizards, Lakers, Thunder and Pelicans.

Noel is coming off a disastrous 2017-18 season in which he was sidelined for three months due to a thumb injury and then suspended for the final five games of the season due to a drug suspension. However, when healthy, he has typically been productive on a per-minute basis. The Thunder are already facing a hefty luxury tax, so their inclusion is surprising. Landing in L.A. or Washington would probably give Noel the best chance at carving out significant fantasy value next season.

The Wizards could pursue unrestricted free agent Nerlens Noel this summer, according to David Aldridge.

Washington just shipped away Marcin Gortat for Austin Rivers, and they are now in need of a new starting center. John Wall has expressed to management that he would like an athletic five-man, and Noel would fit that description, so it'll be interesting to see if anything becomes of this report.

The Clippers reportedly haven't received many enticing offers for DeAndre Jordan.

The Rockets, Bucks, Trail Blazers and Wizards have all expressed interest in Jordan, but none of those trade talks have gotten "anywhere near serious," according to sources Zach Lowe. The Rockets got close in the past, but with how well Clint Capela has been playing this season, there's not much incentive to bring on DJ. Portland has reportedly "backed away" from Jordan for now, and the Bucks and Wizards simply might not have the pieces to get a deal done.
