Nikola Jokic was ejected in the second quarter of Sunday's game, finishing with six points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal in 12 minutes.

In a wild sequence, Jokic and Nuggets coach Mike Malone were both ejected for yelling at the refs -- Malone may have been trying to get tossed, but Jokic's ejection did not seem deserved. Whether or not the league rescinds a technical foul, it's safe to assume that Jokic will be ready to go vs. Sacramento on Monday.

Vince Carter's meeting with Sacramento reportedly "went well."

This is the obligatory "went well" report for Carter, who is reportedly considering offers from three other NBA clubs. Despite almost being 41 years old, Carter remains capable of offering help to an NBA squad's second unit, although his fantasy value will be non-existent regardless of the name across the front of his jersey.

The Wizards are reportedly looking to execute a sign-and-trade deal involving Bojan Bogdanovic.

Washington will likely be matching Brooklyn's max-offer sheet for Otto Porter, so they just can't realistically retain Bogdanovic given that he's seeking a deal that would start at $16 million annually. The Wizards are reportedly seeking a traded player exception in the sign-and-trade deal, so it'll be interesting to see how this situation plays out. Thus far, the Kings, Nuggets and Hawks have all been linked to Bogdanovic.

With the Kings awarding contracts to George Hill and Zach Randolph, they will no longer be able to tender a max-offer to Otto Porter.

Porter is still scheduled to meet with two other teams (one of those teams being Brooklyn) before he makes an official decision as to where he'll sign, but Sacramento is now officially out of the running. Porter will very likely receive a max offer sheet from everyone he meets with, so it'll ultimately be up to Washington as to whether or not they will match. For what it's worth, all the reporting thus far has indicated that the Wizards fully intend to match any offer Porter receives on the open market.

Free agent G Ben McLemore is finalizing a two-year, $10.7 million deal with the Grizzlies, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Kings declined to make McLemore a restricted free agent this summer, and he was previous linked to the Lakers, Knicks and Bucks. He could be a nice fit in Memphis with both Tony Allen and Vince Carter in free agency, leaving a big hole at the SG spot. McLemore never quite found his footing in Sacramento, but could enter the fantasy conversation in a favorable situation with the Grizzlies.

Free agent Dion Waiters will meet with the Lakers on Sunday night, according to Michael Scotto.

Waiters has previously been linked to the Bulls, Knicks and Kings, in addition to the Heat. He suggested that he might accept a discounted salary to stay in Miami, where he thrived last season, but that depends on the offers he gets elsewhere. Stay tuned.

Restricted FA Otto Porter is expected to meet with two more teams before deciding which offer-sheet he'll accept.

Whichever teams he meets with will almost certainly make Porter a maximum offer, as the Kings did on Sunday for $106 million over four years. It could all be moot since Washington has vowed to match any offers for their prized RFA, but it looks like Porter is doing his due diligence on the off-chance Washington backs down.

Free agent Vince Carter is scheduled to meet with the Kings on Monday, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Carter will turn 41 years old in January but he's coming off an age-defying season as a key part of the Grizzlies' bench unit -- he averaged 8.0 points, 1.5 triples, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks, while missing only nine games. Buoyed by solid 3-point range and enduring athleticism, Carter somewhat plausibly hopes to play another two years in the NBA.

The Kings have reportedly offered Otto Porter a four-year, max-deal worth $106 million.

The Wizards have stated on numerous occasions that they would be willing match any offer Porter received on the open market, so it'll be interesting to see if they stick to their word. Porter still hasn't finished his free agent meetings, so he may have multiple max offer sheets to choose from. Once he signs his name on the dotted line, Washington will have 48 hours to decide whether or not they will match.

The Clippers are reportedly trying to find a third team with cap space to help facilitate a sign-and-trade deal for Danilo Gallinari.

To be clear, Gallinari has not yet made a decision as to where he'd like to play next season, and while he has hinted that his preference would be to remain with Denver, it's tough to trust comments from players around this time of the year. Gallinari should be able to flirt with mid-round value regardless of the name across his jersey, but he doesn't have the best track record with staying healthy, making him a risky fantasy target. For what it's worth, the Kings are reportedly no longer an option for Danilo.

Andre Iguodala is "deliberating" a three-year, $45 million offer from the Warriors, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Iguodala has done well to drive up his asking price -- all three years of Golden State's offer are guaranteed, and the $15 million annual salary is higher than expected. Iguodala is reportedly also fielding multi-year offers from the Spurs, Rockets and Kings. He should decide by Sunday, at which point other dominoes will begin to fall.

Dion Waiters has been talking to the Knicks, Bulls and Kings.

If the Heat can't bring in Gordon Hayward, Miami would be the heavy favorite to bring back some Philly Cheese. Waiters has also said he is willing to take a hometown discount, which makes sense after he had his best year as a pro.

Restricted free agent Bojan Bogdanovic is receiving "serious interest" from the Kings, Nuggets, Hawks, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.

Before we get to the details on this, we have to say we're rooting for the Kings to get him so Bojan Bogdanovic and Bogdan Bogdanovic can be on the same team -- they are not related, by the way. Bogie is a restricted free agent, but it could be tough for the Wizards to bring him back, assuming they are in fact going to match on Otto Porter.

The Kings and Nets are among the likeliest teams to meet with Otto Porter on Sunday, according to NBA.com's David Aldridge.

The Wizards are fully expected to match any offer, so it'll be interesting to see who gets him to agree to an offer sheet. Sometimes making an offer on a restricted free agent when his team is expected to match can backfire because it locks up the cap money until the offer is matched. If you go back to 2014, Gordon Hayward was a restricted free agent and Charlotte offered him a max deal, but of course the Jazz later matched. With Charlotte's money tied up before Utah matched, they later missed out on some free agents like Chandler Parsons and others. The moral of the story is restricted rights can go a long way. Again, Porter is fully expected to stick with the Wizards.

Andre Iguodala has canceled the remainder of his free agency meetings, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Interesting. Iguodala's meeting with the Rockets ended Saturday afternoon while he's also talked to the Spurs, Lakers and perhaps the Kings. While there's no word on the specifics of the meetings, ESPN reported that Houston has made an offer to Iggy and the meeting was "excellent." There have been some clear moves to try and gain leverage against the Warriors, so this could be the newest one.

The Kings met with free agent PF Patrick Patterson on Saturday morning.

The Kings probably won't be too competitive while they rebuild for at least the next few years, so Patterson would likely be looking at a sixth man role off the bench behind Skal Labissiere in Sacramento. A deal with the Kings isn't imminent, but they are the only team besides the Raptors that have been linked with him so far. There are several high-profile power forwards on the market still, so Patterson's camp may have to be patient. He averaged 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 2016-17, so a move away from Toronto would be likely be a good thing for his fantasy value.

The Kings have scheduled a meeting with P.J. Tucker this weekend.

The Kings are getting involved with a lot of forwards as they look to add some veterans to their young core. They are expected to meet with Andre Iguodala, Rudy Gay and perhaps other small forwards, so Tucker may be one of the backup plans here.

Zach Randolph is set to meet with teams in Los Angeles when free agency opens, and is getting interest from the Kings, Thunder and Clippers, according to NBA.com's David Aldridge.

Z-Bo has said he's looking forward to his time as a free agent, so he's going to take some meetings with teams to see what they have to offer. Still, he's said his goal is to remain with the Grizzlies, which isn't surprising based on the impact he's had on the team's identity and his impact in the community.
Fri, Jun 30, 2017 09:14:00 PM

ESPN 1500's Darren Wolfson lists the Timberwolves, Raptors, Nuggets, Kings, Sixers and Clippers as teams expected to pursue P.J. Tucker in free agency.

We've now heard multiple reports linking Tucker to the Clippers, and that's not a surprise given their issues at the small forward position. As for the other landing spots mentioned, all would make varying levels of sense, but ultimately it's likely going to come down to dollars and cents for a player who finally has a chance to cash in on his value.

The Rockets are reportedly trying to find a team with cap space to take on Ryan Anderson in order to create more cap space for free agency this offseason.

Anderson is on the books for $19.6 million next season and owed $61.3 million over the next three years, which is a relatively reasonable contract for a four-man who connected on 40.3 percent of his 3-point attempts this past season. The Rockets have reportedly reached out to the Kings regarding a potential Ryno deal, but it's unclear if there is any mutual interest there.
