The 76ers have reportedly expressed interest in Tyreke Evans.

The Grizzlies want a first-round pick for Evans and the 76ers are reportedly reluctant to throw that into the deal, although Memphis may be able to entice them if they'd be willing to take on Jerryd Bayless, who is owed roughly $8.5 million next season. Evans has also been linked to Boston, New Orleans, Miami, OKC and Houston, and it seems likely that he won't finish the year in Memphis. He's in an ideal situation in Memphis, so owners may want to sell-high before he gets dealt.

The Clippers and Pistons have reportedly engaged in "serious talks" on a deal centered around Blake Griffin.

The moving pieces to this potential deal are unclear at this point, but Avery Bradley has reportedly been made available, so he's likely a name that's being discussed on Detroit's side. Tobias Harris could also be thrown into the deal to make the numbers work, so it'll be interesting to see how this one plays out. Griffin's value wouldn't change much with the Pistons.

The Cavs are expressing interest in a trade for George Hill, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

This report adds the Cavs are pursuing Hill to potentially slide into a dual-guard role, starting at either backcourt position or playing as a reserve. This will be a lot easier said than done because Hill just signed a massive three-year, $57 million deal this summer, so there will probably have to be other teams involved. Now that Hill is going to be rested, a trade could help his fantasy value, but a limited role in Cleveland wouldn't be the best spot for him.

Miami likely won't be able to retain unrestricted free agent Willie Reed.

Miami will reportedly be bringing back Udonis Haslem for a 15th season with the club, and with the team drafting Bam Adebayo, there's just not much incentive for them to award a big money deal to Reed considering they will likely need to shell out a decent amount of cash to retain guys like Dion Waiters and James Johnson. Reed has received interest from the 76ers, Pacers and Rockets, but none of those places would be ideal for him in terms of fantasy hoops.

The Sixers are expected to make a strong push for Amir Johnson.

Johnson started 77 games for the Celtics last season, averaging 6.5 points (on 57.6 percent shooting) and 4.6 rebounds in 20.1 minutes. The Sixers have decent depth up front, but could use a reliable veteran to back up both the power forward and center spots. Johnson is a banger who is unafraid to do the dirty work in the paint.

J.J. Redick is not expected to return to the Clippers, and the Nets are interested in signing him, according to Adrian Wojnarowski on ESPN2.

Woj also brought up a slew of good points in his TV interview. The report said the 76ers want to get Redick on a big one-year deal, and also the Wolves are in on Redick. He said the Nets are likely trying to keep the years down on a Redick deal, and also the Nets would likely bring him off the bench in order to start D'Angelo Russell and Jeremy Lin in the backcourt. The 76ers, Rockets and Nets look to be the favorites to pick up one of the NBA's best shooters.

Free agent shooting guard J.J. Redick will meet with the 76ers, reports Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Wolves could really use a shooter like Redick, but he'd also be a nice get for the up-and-coming Sixers. He's averaged at least 15 points in five straight seasons, averaging 15.0 points and 2.6 3-pointers for the Clippers last season.

The Wolves are also interested in J.J. Redick, according to the AP's Jon Krawczynski.

So far we've heard the Rockes, Nets and Sixers linked to Redick, so Minnesota would represent a fourth team entering the mix. It sure would make a whole lot more sense for the Wolves to prioritize the point guard position, and given all the smoke that's come from that flame today, we're not clinging too tightly to this one.

ESPN 1500's Darren Wolfson lists the Timberwolves, Raptors, Nuggets, Kings, Sixers and Clippers as teams expected to pursue P.J. Tucker in free agency.

We've now heard multiple reports linking Tucker to the Clippers, and that's not a surprise given their issues at the small forward position. As for the other landing spots mentioned, all would make varying levels of sense, but ultimately it's likely going to come down to dollars and cents for a player who finally has a chance to cash in on his value.

J.J. Redick is interested in joining the Rockets "if finances can work," according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

The report adds Redick is still looking at joining the 76ers or Nets for around $16-18 million per season. Obviously the Rockets would love to have Redick on their roster for his experience with Chris Paul and tremendous shooting, but they just won't have the cap space to match what the 76ers or Nets could do. He's very likely to be on a different team in the next week or so.

The Timberwolves, 76ers, Spurs, Clippers, Magic, Nets and Jazz will all reportedly pursue Andre Iguodala as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Kevin Durant is reportedly going to take less than the max as a free agent this offseason in an attempt to help the Warriors keep the band together, but some of these opposing teams will be able to offer the 33-year-old, 2015 Finals MVP significantly more money this summer. Iguodala's best shot of being a part of another championship team is obviously in Golden State, but at 33 years old, this will also be his final opportunity to sign a big-money, long-term deal during free agency.

The Celtics "appear to be leaning" towards picking Jayson Tatum at No. 3, according to Chad Ford of ESPN.

Of course, the Celtics are rumored to be looking for a trade and will have to keep this pick to make the selection. The fact that Josh Jackson won't work out for the Celtics may be a factor here, as well. Regardless, Tatum is a serious talent and figures to be a prototype four in today's NBA. If he doesn't go No. 3, he'll probably be going No. 4 to the Suns.

The Spurs, Celtics, Suns and 76ers have all reportedly reached out to the Knicks regarding Kristaps Porzingis.

How far any of these talks got is uncertain, as it's being reported that Phil Jackson's asking price in any potential Porzingis deal remains very high, but it's interesting to see that New York appears to be fielding offers for a guy many believe is their franchise player. For what it's worth, according to Porzingis' brother, KP6 remains committed to the Knicks despite the constant drama that has surrounded the franchise since his arrival.

Markelle Fultz is expected to be drafted No. 1 overall by the 76ers after a likely draft-pick swap with the Celtics on Monday.

Philly will acquire the No. 1 pick, barring any last-minute changes, while sending Boston the No. 3 pick and L.A.'s first-round pick (which is owed to Philly), but only if it falls between picks Nos. 2-5. If not, Boston will instead receive the Kings' first-round pick in 2019, which also belongs to Philly. Addressing his potential fit alongside Ben Simmons, whom the Sixers plan to use as their de facto point guard, Fultz said, "If I'm running the floor or I'm setting the screen for him or giving it back ... it doesn't matter." Philly is going to be must-watch next season, especially if this deal goes through as planned.

Frank Mason is scheduled for a workout with the 76ers on Monday.

Philly recently orchestrated a trade to move up to the No. 1 spot on draft day, presumably to draft Markelle Fultz, and with Jerryd Bayless and T.J. McConnell already on the books for next season, it would be surprising to see the 76ers invest in yet another point guard towards the back half of the 2017 NBA draft.

The 76ers will reportedly bring in De'Aaron Fox for a workout on Saturday.

Fox is an uber-athletic, downhill, scoring point guard and plus-defender, but the biggest knock on his game is his lack of a 3-point shot. He's pretty much a lock to go within the top-5 on draft day, although with the 76ers reportedly considering running Ben Simmons at point guard next season, Fox's playing style could clash with what they're trying to do in Philly.

Malik Monk is scheduled for a solo workout with the 76ers on Thursday.

Monk projects to go towards the back half of the lottery on draft day, so if Philly likes what they see during his workout, perhaps they'll discuss the possibility of trading down on draft day. Monk certainly would fill a major need for the 76ers in his ability to shoot the lights out from beyond the arc, so that would be an ideal landing spot for him in terms of fantasy hoops.

Jaron Blossomgame had a workout with the 76ers on Monday.

At 24 years old, Blossomgame is one of the older prospects in the upcoming draft, and he's currently being projected to go somewhere in the 50s. He's a decent athlete but needs to improve on his fundamentals on defense and his shooting mechanics to be able to make an impact at the next level.
Mon, Jun 12, 2017 03:50:00 PM

The Kings will reportedly try and package their No. 5 and No. 10 picks in order to move up in the draft to take De'Aaron Fox.

Fox is pretty much a lock to go within the top-5 on draft day, and while his talent is undeniable, his lack of 3-point range may make a team like Philly (they'll pick No. 3 overall) open to the idea of moving down in order to secure someone like Malik Monk. Currently, the Kings do not have a point guard on the books for the 2017-18 season, so if Fox does wind up in Sacramento, he could make an immediate impact in fantasy hoops as their starting point guard.

Jordan Bell is scheduled to work out for the 76ers on Wednesday.

Bell put in averages of 11.0 points, 8.7 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals, 2.3 blocks and 2.0 turnovers per game on 66.1 percent shooting on his way to winning the Pac 12 Defensive Player of the Year award during his final season at Oregon. He's a bit undersized for the center position at 6'9", but he makes up for that with his high motor and freakish athleticism. He reportedly spent Tuesday night hanging out with Joel Embiid, and he could be a late first-round option for Philly.
