The Timberwolves, Lakers, Knicks, Pacers and 76ers have all expressed interest in Lance Stephenson.

The Pacers declined to pick up their team option on Born Ready for the 2018-19 season, making him an unrestricted free agent this summer, but it seems they aren't opposed to a reunion. Stephenson's contract situation likely won't work itself out until some of the bigger free agent names come off the board, but it's unlikely he'll be much of a factor in fantasy hoops, regardless of where he winds up.

Free agent Doug McDermott has agreed to a three-year, $22 million deal with the Pacers.

McDermott was an unrestricted free agent and we didn't hear about him being linked to teams other than the Pacers. They got their guy but it wasn't cheap, and the deal is fully guaranteed. He'll give the second-unit added shooting but is a longshot for fantasy value in Indiana.

The Pacers, Cavaliers, Bulls and Pelicans are all reportedly interested in restricted free agent Rodney Hood.

The Cavs will be able to match any offer Hood receives on the open market, although Cleveland will likely let him walk if the retaining price becomes too extravagant. Hood had trouble fitting in in Cleveland, and his refusal to enter a playoff game was not a good look ahead of free agency, so his value is likely a bit deflated at the moment. In terms of fantasy hoops, the Pelicans or Bulls would make for the best landing spots.

The Pacers will reportedly pursue unrestricted free agents Will Barton and Tyreke Evans this summer.

Indiana will have ample cap room this summer, particularly if Thaddeus Young declines to pick up his player option worth $13.8 million, so they could tender a very attractive offer to either of these guys. The Pacers could certainly use another offensive weapon, so in terms of fantasy hoops, this would be a decent landing spot for Barton or Evans.

Dennis Schroder implied during a recent interview that he's not on the same page with Atlanta management.

"I don't know what the organization has in mind," said Schroder. "That's why I'm going back in a week [to meet with management]. Of course, Atlanta is my city... but I have to look individually what's best for me... I will be 25 in September and of course, I want to win a title sometime. In my prime, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, I want to compete. I cannot be the second to last team in the Eastern Conference." Schroder also said it "wouldn't be too bad" to play for the Pacers or Bucks, so it'll be interesting to see what comes out of his upcoming meeting with management.

According to Sam Amick of USA Today, Indiana is a potential landing spot for DeMarre Carroll.

Al Jefferson would head to Brooklyn in this rumored deal, but the Pacers would likely have to give up a young player or draft pick to make this work because Carroll does have some value around the league. As for Jefferson, he'd likely be waived if he ended up with the Nets. If Carroll does end up in Indiana, Bojan Bogdanovic would lose some value and Thaddeus Young might too.

Denzel Valentine cooled off in 26 minutes on Saturday, finishing a lopsided loss vs. Boston with just five points, five rebounds, a steal, and a 3-pointer on 1-of-3 shooting.

Valentine had back-to-back nice games coming into this one, but he just couldn't get it going in a tough matchup vs. the Celtics. If you picked Valentine up this week, give him a chance to right the ship in the upcoming week ahead with matchups vs. the Bucks, Knicks, and Pacers before making any decisions. That being said, Zach LaVine's (knee) return will further crowd the picture, so don't get too reliant on Valentine for anything.
