Richard Jefferson has officially cleared waivers, and he's now an unrestricted free agent.

Jefferson will be free to join a team of his choosing, and both the Bucks and Nuggets have expressed interest in the 37-year-old swingman. However, the Bucks added DeAndre Liggins on Monday, bringing their roster to 15, so they appear to be out of the running. Will Barton suffered what may have been a significant ankle injury during Monday's practice, so Jefferson could help them out with some backcourt depth during Barton's absence, but he won't have any fantasy value there.

The Wizards are reportedly looking to execute a sign-and-trade deal involving Bojan Bogdanovic.

Washington will likely be matching Brooklyn's max-offer sheet for Otto Porter, so they just can't realistically retain Bogdanovic given that he's seeking a deal that would start at $16 million annually. The Wizards are reportedly seeking a traded player exception in the sign-and-trade deal, so it'll be interesting to see how this situation plays out. Thus far, the Kings, Nuggets and Hawks have all been linked to Bogdanovic.

There is reportedly "significant mutual interest" between unrestricted free agent George Hill and the Lakers.

Hill met with the Lakers on Monday and both sides have reportedly engaged in "serious talks" regarding a short-term deal with the Los Angeles franchise. Word is that Lakers' management believes that Hill and No. 2 overall pick Lonzo Ball could share the backcourt, but Hill's presence on the roster would very likely limit Ball's fantasy potential. As a side note, the Nuggets remain interested in signing Hill, but they'll need to clear some cap space before they can make an offer.

The Wolves "may be out" on talks for Paul Millsap, according to's David Aldridge.

In case you missed it a few moments ago, the Suns are out, so that may put the Nuggets in the catbird seat for now. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that owner Josh Kroenke, president Tim Connelly, coach Mike Malone and Gary Harris will be in Atlanta to pitch Millsap -- Gary Harris really does do everything. There's always some concern of a mystery team, but it may be a two-horse race with the Hawks and Nuggets. Millsap would obviously be a great fit next to Nikola Jokic. Another positive here is the lack of competition could help the Nuggets keep the years down or not have to go all the way to max.

The Suns are out on the Paul Millsap pursuit, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of

Sam Amick of USA Today adds Millsap is still expected to meet with Denver tonight. Woj notes that the Suns are going to keep their cap space open and hope to take on salary to go with some young assets or picks -- this is the move Sam Hinkie used to get picks from the Kings a few years ago. With the Suns out, that leaves the Wolves, Nuggets and Hawks as the frontrunners for the 2017 All-Star. The Wolves would likely have to make some moves to fit Sapper in the cap.

Restricted free agent Bojan Bogdanovic is receiving "serious interest" from the Kings, Nuggets, Hawks, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.

Before we get to the details on this, we have to say we're rooting for the Kings to get him so Bojan Bogdanovic and Bogdan Bogdanovic can be on the same team -- they are not related, by the way. Bogie is a restricted free agent, but it could be tough for the Wizards to bring him back, assuming they are in fact going to match on Otto Porter.

The Knicks are unlikely to sign unrestricted free agent George Hill, a source told Marc Berman of the New York Post.

Berman as the voice of reason is a new look, but it's hard to disagree with the logic in this spot. New York probably doesn't have quite enough available money to offer Hill an enticing deal, so it's more likely than not that Hill will look elsewhere for his newest team. Per Berman, the Nuggets and Pacers are two teams vying for Hill's services.

According to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders, Paul Millsap has a meeting scheduled with the Timberwolves on Saturday.

Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reported on Friday that the Wolves and Nuggets were considered the frontrunners to land Millsap. If Minnesota were able to sign Millsap, they would boast a supremely impressive starting five, featuring Jeff Teague, Jimmy Butler, Andrew Wiggins, Paul Millsap and Karl-Anthony Towns. Unfortunately, Millsap's fantasy value would take a big hit if he moved from Atlanta to Minnesota.

According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, the Nuggets and Wolves are the frontrunners to sign free agent All-Star Paul Millsap.

Another All-Star could be headed West, as the Kings and Suns are reportedly in the mix as well. The Hawks initially said that their top priority was to bring Millsap back to Atlanta, but now it sounds like they won't be able to meet his asking price. In terms of fantasy value, Minnesota would be the toughest spot for Millsap to produce early-round numbers.

Blake Griffin has canceled meetings with Phoenix and Denver, according to Sam Amick of USA Today.

The report adds it sounds like the Clippers are the favorites, assuming a wildcard team doesn't swoop in late. Reading between the lines, it sounds like the Clippers may have finally committed to a fifth year for Griffin. If so, he'll be the franchise's centerpiece and would be in for a bump in stats.

ESPN 1500's Darren Wolfson lists the Timberwolves, Raptors, Nuggets, Kings, Sixers and Clippers as teams expected to pursue P.J. Tucker in free agency.

We've now heard multiple reports linking Tucker to the Clippers, and that's not a surprise given their issues at the small forward position. As for the other landing spots mentioned, all would make varying levels of sense, but ultimately it's likely going to come down to dollars and cents for a player who finally has a chance to cash in on his value.

Unrestricted free agent Jrue Holiday is expected to "draw interest" from the Nuggets in free agency, according to Sean Deveney of the Sporting News.

The Nuggets are expected to be aggressive in free agency and president Tim Connelly said the team should be an attractive option. Holiday is also expected to get interest from the Mavs, Pelicans or perhaps a stealth team. The Pelicans are a little strapped on cap space, so it could be tough for them to retain Holiday if a team offers a massive contract.

The Cavaliers, Pacers and Nuggets have reportedly discussed a three-team deal that would send Paul George to Cleveland, with Kevin Love going to Denver.

To be clear, nothing is imminent and there's no mention of what Indiana would get in this scenario -- Denver would likely send them a combination of young players and draft picks. It would be a very interesting move from the Nuggets, who acquired Trey Lyles on draft day but could lose Danilo Gallinari in free agency. Chris Haynes reports that Denver would be willing to give up Kenneth Faried in a potential deal, with Wilson Chandler and Emmanuel Mudiay also "available." Stay tuned.

The Suns and Bulls have reportedly discussed a trade involving Eric Bledsoe and the No. 16 pick.

It's unclear what the Bulls would be giving up in this scenario, and we've heard enough variations on this theme to be skeptical -- less than an hour ago it was reported that Chicago was "looking at other things [than the Suns offers] for now." Bledsoe has also been linked to the Nuggets in a package for Emmanuel Mudiay and a draft pick, so there are multiple scenarios in play.

The Suns have reportedly talked to the Bulls about a trade involving Eric Bledsoe, but Chicago is "looking at other things for now."

Phoenix may be trying to package Bledsoe with the No. 4 pick to acquire a big-name player, according to Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times. It doesn't sound like the Bulls would part with Jimmy Butler for that package, but the Suns are looking at a variety of options involving Bledsoe -- they've also discussed a deal that would send Bledsoe to Denver in exchange for Emmanuel Mudiay and the No. 13 pick.

The Kings, Nuggets and Suns will reportedly pursue Paul Millsap as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Millsap is fully expected to opt out of his contract in order to hit the open market this summer, and there's sure to be more than a few teams added to this list as we get deeper into free agency. The Hawks have reportedly begun to put out some feelers regarding potential sign-and-trade scenarios, which hints that the Atlanta franchise may be prepared to begin going through a rebuild. The Nuggets have long been interested in Millsap, and given they can afford to offer him a max deal, they look like one of the early frontrunners to potentially secure the All-Star forwards services.
