Mario Chalmers has reportedly received interest from the Nets, Pelicans and Mavericks.

Chalmers is a serviceable backup point guard, so he should be able to sign a deal somewhere prior to the start of the 2018-19 season. That said, it's unlikely he'll find himself in a situation where he's a relevant name in fantasy hoops.

Veteran guard Devin Harris has had "strong talks" about joining the Mavericks.

The 14-year veteran has played nine seasons with the Mavericks during his career, and would likely be joining Dallas on a one-year deal worth the veteran's minimum of $2.4 million. He'd be a strong addition for real-world purposes as a mentor for the Mavs' young players, but is well beyond his expiration date as a fantasy asset.

The Mavericks and Clippers are "actively exploring trade possibilities" that would send DeAndre Jordan to Dallas this week, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

The Clippers recently dealt for Marcin Gortat to bolster the frontcourt, which could be a prelude to a DJ deal. Jordan could opt-in for his final year to facilitate a trade, but he must do so by midnight on Friday, so the clock is ticking. Stein adds that Wes Matthews would likely "be the centerpiece" of the Clippers' return haul, while Dallas would get the center who spurned them three years ago.

The Pelicans would reportedly like to sign DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) to a short-term deal this summer.

A full Achilles tear is nothing to shrug at, so it would be wise for the Pelicans front office to sign Cousins to a short-term, show-me type deal rather than awarding him a five-year, supermax contract this summer. The Mavericks have been reported to have interest in Cousins, but what they do on draft day could change how they view Cousins when free agency opens up on July 1. For what it's worth, Anthony Davis would like New Orleans to retain Boogie.

DeMarcus Cousins will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and the Mavericks are expected to pursue not only Cousins, but also DeAndre Jordan and restricted free agent Julius Randle.

It may be nothing, but Cousins was caught liking an Instagram comment that said he should be paid the max. The Mavs would more than likely offer that if talks were to get serious. As for Jordan, everyone remembers his fiasco with the Mavs and Clips back in 2015 when he went back on his verbal agreement to go to Dallas, so it comes as somewhat of a surprise they would still be interested. Randle's decision will be affected by how the Lakers handle his restricted free agency.
