Andre Drummond (sore ribs) finished Monday's tough road loss with 16 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 39 minutes.

The rib injury is a question of pain tolerance for Drummond, but he looked great in heavy minutes during a very physical game tonight. Five of his boards came on the offensive glass, and the only negatives were four turnovers and an 0-of-2 mark at the FT line. He should be ready to go vs. the Nets on Wednesday, but owners should still confirm his status prior to tip-off.

Trevor Booker has been traded to the Sixers in a deal sending Jahlil Okafor, Nik Stauskas and a 2019 second-round pick to Brooklyn.

Booker should immediately give Philly's second unit a boost defensively and on the glass, and he's no slouch offensively, but it's doubtful he'll get enough minutes to help fantasy owners. Dario Saric has been playing well at PF and that should continue with Ben Simmons at PG and Markelle Fultz (shoulder) lacking a clear return date. Amir Johnson and Richaun Holmes will feel the pinch even more as they fight for backup-center minutes.

The Nets have interest in unrestricted free agent Jared Sullinger, but according to sources of Anthony Puccio of the Nets Daily, there are rumblings that Sullinger could be headed to China.

The Nets actually have a decent amount of cap space available, so they could potentially make a competitive offer to Sullinger, but he'd be able to be more of a focal point of the offense in China. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out, but if Sullinger is awarded a "show-me" deal by Brooklyn, he could start making blips on the deep league radar.

With the Kings awarding contracts to George Hill and Zach Randolph, they will no longer be able to tender a max-offer to Otto Porter.

Porter is still scheduled to meet with two other teams (one of those teams being Brooklyn) before he makes an official decision as to where he'll sign, but Sacramento is now officially out of the running. Porter will very likely receive a max offer sheet from everyone he meets with, so it'll ultimately be up to Washington as to whether or not they will match. For what it's worth, all the reporting thus far has indicated that the Wizards fully intend to match any offer Porter receives on the open market.

As expected, the Wolves have rescinded their qualifying offer to Shabazz Muhammad, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Minnesota couldn't afford to have a $4.2 million qualifying offer tying up valuable cap space after trading for Jimmy Butler and agreeing to deal with Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson. They may have also concluded that they wouldn't be able to match incoming offer sheets -- Muhammad has reportedly drawn interest from the Nets.

Shabazz Muhammad's camp is reportedly alerting teams that he'll be an unrestricted free agent upon completion of the Taj Gibson deal.

In order for the Wolves to make the financials work with Gibson, they'll need to renounce their rights to Muhammad, thus making him an unrestricted free agent. So far Muhammad has only been linked to the Nets, but he'll likely receive some more interest around the league once some of the bigger names in free agency come off the board.

The Kings and Nets are among the likeliest teams to meet with Otto Porter on Sunday, according to's David Aldridge.

The Wizards are fully expected to match any offer, so it'll be interesting to see who gets him to agree to an offer sheet. Sometimes making an offer on a restricted free agent when his team is expected to match can backfire because it locks up the cap money until the offer is matched. If you go back to 2014, Gordon Hayward was a restricted free agent and Charlotte offered him a max deal, but of course the Jazz later matched. With Charlotte's money tied up before Utah matched, they later missed out on some free agents like Chandler Parsons and others. The moral of the story is restricted rights can go a long way. Again, Porter is fully expected to stick with the Wizards.

J.J. Redick is not expected to return to the Clippers, and the Nets are interested in signing him, according to Adrian Wojnarowski on ESPN2.

Woj also brought up a slew of good points in his TV interview. The report said the 76ers want to get Redick on a big one-year deal, and also the Wolves are in on Redick. He said the Nets are likely trying to keep the years down on a Redick deal, and also the Nets would likely bring him off the bench in order to start D'Angelo Russell and Jeremy Lin in the backcourt. The 76ers, Rockets and Nets look to be the favorites to pick up one of the NBA's best shooters.

The Rockets are likely to meet with Amir Johnson this weekend.

The list is getting pretty long for teams looking to meet with Amir, but none of them have been the Celtics so far. The Bulls, Nets and Raptors are also expected to be in the mix, based on an ESPN report.
Fri, Jun 30, 2017 11:06:00 PM

The Wolves are also interested in J.J. Redick, according to the AP's Jon Krawczynski.

So far we've heard the Rockes, Nets and Sixers linked to Redick, so Minnesota would represent a fourth team entering the mix. It sure would make a whole lot more sense for the Wolves to prioritize the point guard position, and given all the smoke that's come from that flame today, we're not clinging too tightly to this one.

The Bulls, Nets and Raptors are suitors to sign Amir Johnson, according to ESPN NY's Ian Begley.

The Raptors have been in the mix for a while and could be set for a reunion. Johnson is 30 years old now, and he really maxes out at around 20 minutes per game these days. He'll likely serve as depth on most teams.

The Wizards "intend to match any offer" on restricted free agent Otto Porter, according to Chris Mannix of The Vertical.

This is pretty much a non-update, but you can bet Nets general manager Sean Marks is going to have to make the Wizards pay up to keep the breakout forward. Porter is in close to a perfect spot as a 3-and-D player and still busted out in fantasy as a second-round guy.

J.J. Redick is interested in joining the Rockets "if finances can work," according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

The report adds Redick is still looking at joining the 76ers or Nets for around $16-18 million per season. Obviously the Rockets would love to have Redick on their roster for his experience with Chris Paul and tremendous shooting, but they just won't have the cap space to match what the 76ers or Nets could do. He's very likely to be on a different team in the next week or so.

ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that the Pistons expect the Nets to make a lucrative offer to restricted free agent Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Caldwell-Pope is widely regarded as the top shooting guard on the open market this summer. The Nets already have Caris LeVert and Sean Kilpatrick on their roster, but adding another young and talented 3-and-D wing such as Caldwell-Pope would be a smart allocation of their resources. However, because he is restricted, Detroit can choose to match any offer sheet KCP signs. Stein also says the Wizards anticipate Brooklyn will go after Otto Porter as well.

The Wizards will get the first shot to sign restricted free agent Otto Porter, according to David Aldridge of

The Wizards can match any offer on Porter, and there's a very good chance teams like the Nets will be throwing max money at him. Porter had a breakout season last year and has emerged as an excellent fit next to John Wall and Bradley Beal.

The Timberwolves, 76ers, Spurs, Clippers, Magic, Nets and Jazz will all reportedly pursue Andre Iguodala as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Kevin Durant is reportedly going to take less than the max as a free agent this offseason in an attempt to help the Warriors keep the band together, but some of these opposing teams will be able to offer the 33-year-old, 2015 Finals MVP significantly more money this summer. Iguodala's best shot of being a part of another championship team is obviously in Golden State, but at 33 years old, this will also be his final opportunity to sign a big-money, long-term deal during free agency.

The Los Angeles Lakers have selected Kyle Kuzma with the No. 27 overall selection in the 2017 NBA Draft.

The Lakers acquired this pick from Brooklyn in the D'Angelo Russell trade. The 6'10" Kuzma carried the Utes offense with his team-high 16.4 points on a 27.0 usage rate and 56.5 true shooting percentage as a junior. Kuzma's offensive game is well-rounded with shots from all over the court, but he did make just 36.0 percent on two-point jumpers and only 32.1 percent on treys for his 0.9 makes per outing. While he did pull down 9.0 boards per game, he also didn’t really much else with 0.6 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.1 turnovers. He'll have a lot of work to do if he hopes to earn meaningful minutes in his rookie season in Los Angeles playing behind Julius Randle and Larry Nance.

Cameron Oliver is scheduled to work out for the Nets on Wednesday and the Knicks on Thursday.

Oliver is an explosive four-man with a shredded body and 3-point range, although he's still very raw on the offensive end, which is why he's being billed as a long-term project and figures to go deep in the second round on draft day. It's unlikely he'll make an immediate impact in fantasy hoops during his rookie year.

The Nets, 76ers and Mavericks have all reportedly expressed interest in bringing Jan Vesely back to the NBA.

Vesely was taken with the No. 6 overall selection in the 2011 NBA draft, but he failed to live up to expectations and was out of the league after three seasons in which he compiled averages of just 3.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. However, he's reportedly improved overseas, so maybe he can work his way back into the NBA as a role player off the bench. If he does come stateside, he'd need to be bought out of his contract with Fenerbache of Turkey.

The Nets will reportedly pursue Shabazz Muhammad as a restricted free agent this offseason.

Both Minnesota and Brooklyn will have a ton of cap space this offseason, but given Muhammad's skill set, the Timberwolves may let him walk if the Nets come in with a big time offer. Muhammad would provide the Nets with a much-needed scoring punch, so he could potentially have some value in Brooklyn.
