The Hawks, Nets and Jazz have all reportedly expressed interest in Italian forward Nicolo Melli.

The 27-year-old sharpshooter has been playing professionally in Europe since 2010, and both the Hawks and Nets have reportedly contacted him this summer. He's shot over 43% from beyond the arc in each of his past three seasons, although he has said he wants to win in Europe before coming to the NBA.

The Hawks and Thunder are reportedly discussing a trade that would send Carmelo Anthony to Atlanta in exchange for Dennis Schroder and Mike Muscala.

The Hawks are desperate to rid themselves of Schroder and the Thunder find themselves in a similar predicament with Melo, so this would be a deal that would make sense for both sides. The Hawks would waive Anthony upon his arrival, thus allowing him to sign with a team of his choosing (likely the Rockets), and Schroder's value would take a hit as he'd be relegated to being Russell Westbrook's backup. Muscala would remain a non-factor in OKC.

The Hawks are one of the team's showing interest in restricted free agent Zach LaVine, according to Vincent Goodwill of NBCS Chicago.

LaVine has been on Twitter hinting that he wants big bucks, so it'll be interesting to see if the Hawks would come up with a deal closer to $16 per season. With Trae Young in the fold and the Hawks still with Dennis Schroder on the roster, it may be tough.

The Hawks have agreed to trade the No. 3 pick to Dallas in exchange for the No. 5 pick and a future first-round pick, according to multiple sources.

The Mavericks are expected to land Luka Doncic in the deal, with the Hawks getting Trae Young with the No. 5 pick. It didn't take long for the 2018 draft to produce some fireworks, with Dallas likely landing a potential franchise-caliber guard and Atlanta rolling the dice on an undersized PG with tremendous shooting range and unknown upside.

Jaren Jackson Jr. will work out for the Hawks on Wednesday.

Jackson Jr. recently completely a workout with the Suns that was so impressive it made headlines, and there's a good chance he'll wind up in Atlanta on draft day. He's an exceptional defender who can space the floor with his 3-point stroke, although he doesn't have much of a post-up game and he was a bit foul prone during his one-and-done stint with Michigan State. Still, his ability to rack up the swats (5.5 blocks per-40 minutes) puts him on the fantasy radar.

Trae Young is scheduled to work out for the Hawks on Tuesday.

The Hawks own the No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 draft, which would be a bit of a reach for Young, but if they like what they see they might consider moving down a few slots. Young put in averages of 27.4 points, 3.7 triples, 8.7 dimes, 1.7 steals and 5.2 turnovers per game on 42.2% shooting during his one-and-done season with the Sooners, so he could be a fantasy relevant guy during his rookie season depending on where he winds up.
Jun 11 - 3:40 PM

Landry Shamet will work out for the Hawks on Monday.

The 6-4 point guard out of Witchita State has nice size at the point guard position, a high basketball IQ and he's also a lethal from beyond the arc, so he could be an option for Atlanta when they come on the board with their No. 19 overall selection in the 2018 NBA draft. Joining Shamet in Monday's workout will be Jacob Evans, Devonte Graham, Nick King, Jeff Roberson and Zach Thomas.

The Bulls are reportedly "still intrigued" by Jahlil Okafor's talent, but are hesitant to "give up anything of significance" to acquire him.

According to Bulls writer Carlos Douglas Jr., the team "might just wait until the summer of 2018 to pursue him" in free agency. The Suns were also linked to Okafor in early November, but first they'd need to buy out or trade Greg Monroe. Atlanta and New York have also been rumored as possible landing spots, but there's no clear traction in any of these scenarios.

The Suns are reportedly interested in Jahlil Okafor.

The Suns are looking to open a roster spot by moving or buying out Greg Monroe, and they'd reportedly like to fill that hole with Okafor. However, if they aren't able to move Tyson Chandler or Alex Len prior to acquiring Okafor, he wouldn't really be in a much better situation in Phoenix than the one he's currently in in Philadelphia. The Bulls and Hawks are also rumored to be interested in Okafor, and they'd be a much better spot for him in terms of fantasy hoops.

The Bulls and the Hawks are reportedly the most likely landing spots for Jahlil Okafor.

These are some of the few teams that would make sense for Okafor, but thus far, they haven't come forth with an enticing offer for Philly, as the 76ers would like to secure a draft pick in any deal sending away the former No. 3 overall selection. Phoenix and New York have also been rumored to have interest in Okafor, but those teams are already loaded in their frontcourt and it's tough to see a deal going through where the numbers would work.
