The Vegas Golden Knights are second in the NHL in takeaways.

That's amazing for an expansion team but everything they have done this season is amazing. They have 642 takeaways this season, second to only Carolina, and are over 100 ahead of the third place Rangers.

Pierre-Edouard Bellemare injured his left hand in the first period Saturday.

Bellemare tried to play through it but lasted only a couple of more shifts before calling it a day at the 2:44 mark of the second period. He has five goals and 13 points this season so his fantasy value is negligible but he has been a big part of the Golden Knights success as a bottom-six forward. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Nate Schmidt had a goal and an assist Saturday in the Golden Knights 6-3 win over Montreal.

The illness plaguing defenseman Shea Theodore is a throat infection.

Golden Knights owner Bill Foley described it as a terrible throat infection and if so, Theordore may not be available Monday when Vegas takes on his former team, the Anaheim Ducks. Theodore has four goals and 18 points in 42 games this season. Not bad for the 22-year-old and he should be even better next season.

Lindberg, who will come out of the lineup for Brendan Leipsic, has seven goals and two assists in 53 games this season. He's now gone 20 games without finding the back of the net. Lindberg shouldn't pop up on your fantasy radar.

David Perron has been white hot over Vegas' last 14 games.

The veteran winger has registered 19 points over those games (1.36 points per game) and now sits tied for 23rd in NHL scoring with the likes of Patrick Kane and Jamie Benn. Who would have predicted this? Sadly, not us Rotoworld folk.
