Date:

Christian Fischer is on a three-game point streak.

Fischer has four assists over that span. He has 13 goals and 27 points in 54 contests as a rookie this season. It might not be enough to get him in the Calder Trophy conversation, but it's a solid start for a forward with a good amount of offensive upside.
Feb 14 - 5:05 AM

Christian Fischer picked up a pair of assists with a plus-1 rating, five shots on goal and a hit across 12:53 of ice time in Monday's 6-1 win against the Blackhawks.

Fischer is back from a lower-body injury and he has picked up three assists with a plus-2 rating in his two games since his one-game absence. He has posted a goal with seven points over the past eight outings, giving him some low-end fantasy value in deeper pools. He'll look to keep it rolling Tuesday in San Jose.
Feb 13 - 12:48 AM

Christian Fischer (lower body) returned to action on Saturday.

Fischer had an assist and was a plus-one in 13:07 of action. The 20-year-old has 13 goals and 24 points in 52 games but his minus-19 rating will definitely hurt your fantasy team, leaving his value as negligible.
Feb 11 - 2:15 AM

Christian Fischer is dealing with a lower-body injury.

Fischer didn't play on Thursday due to the injury. He did practice on Friday though and might be able to return on Saturday.
Feb 9 - 6:02 PM

Christian Fischer will be a healthy scratch in Thursday's game against the Minnesota Wild.

Fischer has just one goal in his last eight games. The 20-year-old has 13 goals and 23 points in 51 games this season. Luke Schenn and Freddie Hamilton will also watch the game from the press box.
Feb 8 - 7:54 PM

Christian Fischer has been playing on the Coyotes' top line alongside Clayton Keller and Max Domi.

Fischer has responded with three goals in Arizona's last five games. If you are desperate for a little goal-scoring, you might consider picking up Fischer, especially if plus/minus stats don't count in your pool. The Coyotes' second line features Derek Stepan, Brendan Perlini and Tobias Reider. The struggling Anthony Duclair continues to play in the Yotes' bottom six.

Arizona Coyotes head coach Rick Tocchet said forward Christian Fischer is stitched up and ready to roll tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Fischer was injured after taking a puck to the face, he did not return to the game. Fishcer has 14 points in 32 games this season, but has gone pointless in his last four games. He should not be owned in fantasy leagues.

Christian Fischer picked up an assist and scored the game-winning goal in overtime to beat the Los Angeles Kings 3-2.

Fischer was in the perfect spot to poke home Dvorak's rebound passed Kuemper midway through the extra frame. Fischer has now totalled six goals and 10 points in 23 games this season. Only 20-years-old, the former second round pick is still learning how to use his big frame at the NHL level. He likely won't return much fantasy value this season but could be a sleeper next season.

Christian Fischer picked up a goal and an assist in a 5-4 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

The Coyotes were thoroughly outplayed in the first period, but came out flying in both the second and third period to make a game of it. Fischer picked up an assist on Dvorak's second period goal and picked the game-winning goal midway through the final period. Fischer is up to eight points in 19 games but is firmly off the fantasy radar.

Christian Fischer will be a healthy scratch in Thursday's game against the New York Rangers.

It's the second time this season that Fischer will serve as a healthy scratch for Arizona. He scored a goal two games ago, but finished minus-2 in his last game against the Islanders. He has two goals in eight games this season. Kevin Connauton will also watch the game from the press box.

Christian Fischer found the back of the net in Arizona's 5-4 loss to Anaheim on Thursday.

Fischer now has four goals in eight career games, including his limited work with the Coyotes last season. The 20-year-old has a lot of offensive potential, making him worth keeping an eye on.

The Arizona Coyotes have sent Christian Fischer to the minors.

Fischer was a healthy scratch on Wednesday and he wasn't going to draw back into the lineup with Shane Doan returning from the sidelines. With that in mind, Fischer is better served being in the AHL for now so that he can get some playing time.

Christian Fischer and Teemu Pulkkinen are expected to be scratched against St. Louis on Wednesday.

Fischer has posted three goals and nine hits in seven games thus far. Pulkinnen has a goal in just four games with Arizona.

While the Coyotes as a team don't have much to play for at this point, these next games will be big for Christian Fischer.

Fischer was summoned on Tuesday and he has three goals in four games with Arizona this season. For him any playing time he gets with the Coyotes is about making an impression that can carry over to the 2017 training camp. It's worth keeping in mind that this counts as the first year of his entry-level contract if he reaches the 10-game mark, so Arizona will probably limit him to five more contests to avoid that.
