Bengals offensive coordinator Bill Lazor wouldn't declare who Cincinnati's starting right tackle would be.
The Bengals added Ohio State C Billy Price in the first round of this weekend's draft but still have a looming question mark at right tackle. 23-year-old Bobby Hart, seventh-round hybrid lineman Rod Taylor, and former second-round disappointment Jake Fisher are all expected to compete for the position. Bengals signed OT Bobby Hart, formerly of the Giants, to a one-year contract.

The Giants made it known in December that Hart wasn't long for the G-Men, and they finally waived him last weekend. The Bengals have one of the sorriest tackle groups in the league. They're merely taking a flier on the 23-year-old.

Giants waived RT Bobby Hart.

It was originally reported that Hart was waived on December 30, but the move wasn't made official until Friday. He battled an ankle injury throughout 2017 while also drawing criticism for "quitting" on the team. The 23-year-old struggled over his 523 snaps, earning PFF's No. 76 grade out of 83 qualifiers at tackle.
Feb 9 - 4:53 PM

Giants RT Bobby Hart was never released by the team.

Hart was waived/injured on December 30. He passed through waivers unclaimed and landed on injured reserve. At the time Hart was waived/injured, it was perceived as punishment for "quitting on the team." The Giants have Hart under contract for one more season.

Giants waived OT Bobby Hart.

It is an odd time to make this move, suggesting there is something going on behind the scenes. Of course, that would not be surprising considering the state of the Giants' locker room. Either way, it is not a big loss despite Hart starting 20 games the last two seasons and the last three at right tackle. New GM Dave Gettleman's first order of business should be fixing a long-broken offensive line.

Giants RT Bobby Hart (ankle) returned to practice on Thursday.

He took a seat Sunday at Philadelphia after lasting just two snaps against the Lions in Week 2. Hart's injury has created a domino effect on the Giants' offensive line with Brett Jones manning left guard and Justin Pugh filling in at right tackle.

Giants RT Bobby Hart (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Eagles.

The Giants moved LG Justin Pugh to right tackle last week and subbed in Brett Jones at left guard. Any way you slice it, this offensive line is bad.

Giants RT Bobby Hart (ankle) did not practice Thursday.

Hart also missed the first two practices last week before suiting up on Monday night, but he was only able to last two plays against the Lions. He is likely going to miss this week's matchup with the Eagles.

Giants RT Bobby Hart exited Week 2 against the Lions with an ankle injury.

Hart sprained his ankle in Week 1 and lasted just two plays Monday night. LG Justin Pugh has moved to right tackle, with Brett Jones now in at left guard.

Giants RT Bobby Hart (ankle) was removed from the Week 2 injury report.

It is not a surprise after Hart was able to play through the issue in the season opener. He was not great in that game, however, and is likely still at less than 100 percent. The Giants' offense has several problems, but tackle play is near the top of the list.

Giants RT Bobby Hart (ankle) did not practice on Thursday.

Hart played through a sprained ankle Week 1 and plans to do the same on Monday night, but it is not a great sign he is absent the first practice of the week. If Hart cannot go, the Giants could turn to D.J. Fluker.

Giants RT Bobby Hart (ankle) expects to play in Week 2 against Detroit.

Hart played through the injury last week, but was in a walking boot and had a "noticeable limp" on Wednesday. With the Giants playing on Monday night, Hart has five days to get cleared for Week 2.

Giants RT Bobby Hart suffered a sprained ankle Week 1 against the Cowboys.

He was able to play through the injury, but there is some concern about his Week 2 status. The last thing the Giants need is an injury to their already shaky offensive line. D.J. Fluker would likely be the next man up.

Giants sophomore Bobby Hart is expected to start at right tackle Week 3 against the Redskins.

Hart replaced Marshall Newhouse after he suffered a calf injury late in the Week 2 win over the Saints. With Newhouse still sidelined, Hart will get the call again this week. Hart will get a tough draw against Redskins OLB Ryan Kerrigan, but the Giants do a good job protecting their line with quick passes.

The Giants are giving 2015 seventh-rounder Bobby Hart a chance to unseat Marshall Newhouse at right tackle.

The word comes straight from coach Ben McAdoo. Newhouse was a major liability last season, but Hart made only nine appearances, including one start. 53 of his 153 snaps came at guard. He's a long-shot.
