Larry Nance posted 15 points across 27 minutes in Friday's 112-89 victory on the road against the Grizzlies.
Nance hit 6-of-11 from the field while finishing a perfect 3-of-3 from the charity stripe. He also chipped in with eight rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocked shots while turning it over just once. He is fitting in rather nicely in his old man's former digs, and this was his most complete game in four outings since coming over from the Los Angeles Lakers. Feb 23 - 11:19 PM

Larry Nance hit 5-of-10 shots and 3-of-6 free throws for 13 points, nine rebounds, two assists, a steal and three blocks in 25 minutes off the bench on Tuesday.

Nance is going to play a lot of power forward and center for the Cavs, especially with Kevin Love out. He's giving the Cavs a much-needed defensive presence and it looks like he'll be worth owning across the board. He was much better tonight than in his Cleveland debut and is returning eighth- or ninth-round fantasy value on the season.
Feb 13 - 11:22 PM

Larry Nance was quiet in his Cleveland debut, going 2-of-5 from the field and 1-of-1 from the line for five points in 21 minutes off the bench.

Nance won't be scoring much in Cleveland, but that's not where his value comes from anyway, and he still came through with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and zero turnovers. He should be able to find minutes in the mid-20s with the Cavs, which is all the amount of time he needs to produce in fantasy hoops. If you picked him up after the trade, give him a few more games before making a decision as to whether or not to cut him.
Feb 11 - 6:36 PM

Larry Nance won't play on Friday vs. the Hawks.

He's in the building, but none of the new Cavaliers are going to be active tonight. Nance should see plenty of minutes in Cleveland, especially with Kevin Love (hand) out several more weeks. He's worth picking up in standard leagues.
Feb 9 - 6:07 PM

Larry Nance has been traded to the Cavaliers.

Nance and Clarkson will head to Cleveland in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye and Cleveland's first-round pick. The Cavaliers rank 13th in the NBA in pace, but you'd think that will go up with Nance and JC running the floor. Barring another move (Cleveland is linked to DeAndre Jordan), Nance will compete for minutes with Tristan Thompson and Jae Crowder, but only needs minutes in the 20s to help fantasy owners. He's a solid add, but the deadline could create better pickups.

Larry Nance rolled up 15 points with eight rebounds, two assists and two steals while turning it over zero times in Sunday's game at Toronto.

Nance was an impressive 7-of-8 from the field and 1-of-1 from the free-throw line. He is hard to figure, as he was scoreless on Friday night at Chicago while going 0-of-4 from the field. That came on the heels of a three-game run where he was 14-of-19 (73.7 percent) from the field. He is a decent fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams right now, and he is working on an 11-game run with five or more rebounds.
Jan 28 - 9:17 PM

Larry Nance (hip) finished a perfect 5-of-5 from the field across 28 minutes off the bench Friday against the Pacers, posting 10 points.

Nancne also chipped in with 11 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocked shots to quell the fears of his fantasy owners. He was rather limited in a lopsided loss on Wednesday, but he played with no restrictions and a lot of production in this one. It appears safe to trust him in all fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams after this solid performance, although his fantasy appeal remains rather limited as long as Kyle Kuzma, Brook Lopez and Julius Randle are also healthy and sucking up frontcourt minutes.
Jan 20 - 2:04 AM

Larry Nance (hip) finished a lopsided loss on Wednesday with six points on 3-of-5 shooting, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 23 minutes.

The Lakers were blown out and coach Luke Walton spread minutes across 13 different players, so there's not a lot to learn from this game. Julius Randle was efficient with 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting, but no other Laker scored more than 10 points tonight. Yuck.
Jan 18 - 12:34 AM

Larry Nance (right hip pointer) is probable to play Wednesday vs. Oklahoma City.

Nance tweaked his hip on Monday but was able to play through it, and it sounds like that's what he'll be doing tonight. Check back for official confirmation on his status closer to tip-off.
Jan 17 - 12:54 PM

Larry Nance (right hip pointer) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Nance played through the hip issue on Monday, but it may have gotten worse overnight. We'll have a better idea on his status following Wednesday morning's shootaround, but if he does need to hit the sidelines, Kyle Kuzma and Julius Randle would pick up most of his minutes. Stay tuned.
Jan 16 - 3:25 PM

Larry Nance played through a hip injury suffered on Monday and double-doubled with 15 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and three blocks in 26 minutes.

He hit 6-of-9 shots and owners might want to monitor him going forward, as he was in a lot of pain after banging hips with Deyonte Davis and was wearing a huge contraption around his waist when he wasn't playing in order to ease the pain. He's double-doubled in two of his last three games and left early with a cut above his eye on Saturday. He's banged up, but playing well when the minutes are there.
Jan 15 - 8:22 PM

Larry Nance Jr. hurt his back during Monday's game against the Grizzlies, but he's available to return.

He got bumped on a drive to the hoop, hit one of two of his freebies and then limped his way back to the locker room. We'll provide another update after the game, but it doesn't seem like he's dealing with anything serious.
Jan 15 - 6:43 PM

Larry Nance exited Saturday's game with a cut above his left eye and did not return, finishing with two points and seven boards in 19 minutes off the bench.

The extent of Nance's injury is currently unclear at this point, but he'll likely be evaluated for a concussion, and there's a chance he could sit out Monday's game in Memphis. If he does indeed hit the sidelines on Monday, that would open up minutes for Julius Randle and Kyle Kuzma. Check back for another update following Monday morning's shootaround.
Jan 13 - 4:45 PM

Larry Nance played 30 minutes and hit 6-of-9 shots, including a highlight-reel dunk, for 14 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block on Thursday.

Brook Lopez and Julius Randle never got it going in this one, giving Nance a chance to shine off the pine. He's been playing well, especially in his last three games, and is holding ninth-round fantasy value this season, despite the presence of Randle and Kyle Kuzma, who hit just 3-of-12 shots tonight. Nance is worth owning, but he's not going to be all that reliable on nights when Randle, who failed to score in this one, and Kuzma are doing work.
Jan 12 - 2:14 AM

Larry Nance (illness) finished Sunday's game with 13 points on 6-of-6 shooting, adding eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 24 minutes.

Nance didn't miss any games despite battling 'flu-like symptoms' the past few days. L.A. recently waived Andrew Bogut to avoid guaranteeing his contract for the rest of the season, but Nance's playing time is still unlikely to climb while Julius Randle, Brook Lopez and Kyle Kuzma are clogging up frontcourt minutes.
