Jordan Clarkson hit 6-of-10 shots and a 3-pointer for 14 points, three rebounds and four assists in 24 minutes off the bench on Tuesday.
Clarkson scored 17 on Sunday and is averaging 15.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.0 3-pointers in his two Cavs games. He's going to play both backup point guard and shooting guard, and just might be able to maintain his value in Cleveland. He's in wait-and-see mode for now. Feb 13 - 11:24 PM

Jordan Clarkson was solid in his Cavs' debut on Sunday, scoring 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting to go with three 3-pointers, three rebounds, one assist and two steals in 23 minutes.

Clarkson provided a nice spark off the bench with the second unit, and it seems as though he's already endeared himself to LeBron James, so we'd expect his minutes to rise over the coming games. Clarkson only needs minutes in the mid-20s to be effective, and he's going to be getting a lot of wide-open looks whenever he shares the floor with James, so maybe he'll be able to sustain his value in Cleveland.
Feb 11 - 6:27 PM

Cavaliers coach Ty Lue said Jordan Clarkson will run the second unit on Sunday vs. Boston.

George Hill will start at point guard alongside Cedi Osman, but it sounds like Clarkson could get plenty of burn at both guard spots. Clarkson didn't play much in Los Angeles when Lonzo Ball was active, so maybe this trade benefits him. We'll find out soon enough.
Feb 11 - 2:07 PM

Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance will not play against the Hawks on Friday.

The Cavs won't have their new-look roster at full strength today with Rodney Hood and George Hill also out. Clarkson is going to have more talent around him in what should be a second-unit role, so his fantasy value may be taking a hit. Plus, he is less likely to close games.
Feb 9 - 6:07 PM

The Lakers are sending Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance to the Cavaliers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of

And we're off. The Cavs get themselves some much needed help to their backcourt, and chances are they are not done here. Clarkson isn't the best shooter, so he will likely be coming off the bench. Fantasy wise, this is not the best spot for Clarkson because he'll be losing shots to LeBron James and presumably other players, but maybe he can hold value with Isaiah Thomas off the roster.
Feb 8 - 12:07 PM

Jordan Clarkson played 27 minutes, but hit just 3-of-12 shots and missed all four of his 3-pointers for seven points, four rebounds, five assists and a steal in Tuesday's win over the Suns.

Clarkson's name is constantly in trade rumors, but he's been playing pretty well. He just couldn't get his shots to fall tonight and snapped his double-digit scoring streak at eight games. He'll bounce back in the next one, but if he's traded, it's possible he could lose a lot of value. Just hope he lands on another bad team if he's moved.
Feb 7 - 1:26 AM

Jordan Clarkson needed just 23 minutes to produce 18 points, four 3-pointers, two rebounds, two assists, two steals and three turnovers during Sunday's 108-104 win in Oklahoma City.

Clarkson did most of his damage after halftime, scoring 13 of his 18 points through the second half of action, and he came through with some big buckets during crunch time to give the Lakers their first victory in OKC since 2011. He's been a mid-round guy ever since Lonzo Ball (knee) hit the sidelines, pumping out averages of 18.3 points, 4.1 dimes, 1.5 triples, 0.9 steals and 2.2 turnovers per game on 46.2% shooting.
Feb 4 - 5:38 PM

Jordan Clarkson scored 20 points on 7-of-14 FGs and 4-of-4 FTs on Wednesday, adding five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.

Clarkson also hit a pair of 3-pointers in 24 minutes tonight, but it wasn't nearly enough to avoid a blowout loss in Orlando. Lonzo Ball's absence with a knee injury has conveniently allowed L.A. to showcase Clarkson prior to the trade deadline, and fantasy owners should be rooting for him to land on a bad team.
Jan 31 - 10:22 PM

The Lakers reportedly offered Jordan Clarkson for Avery Bradley.

Bradley is "available" in trade talks, but Detroit's asking price is "significant." It's unclear if these talks are ongoing, but it's likely the first of many rumors we'll hear with the trade deadline looming. It's no secret that Clarkson is on the trade block with the Lakers hoping to enter 2018 free agency with as much cap space as possible.
Jan 29 - 10:27 AM

Jordan Clarkson posted 17 points in just 22 minutes off the bench Sunday at Toronto.

Clarkson, who leads the NBA in baskets from a reserve, was 6-of-13 from the field and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line, although he was an ugly 0-of-4 from behind the arc. He and Alex Caruso helped a game destined for garbage time become slightly interesting down the stretch with their heroics off the bench. As long as Lonzo Ball (knee) is on the shelf, Clarkson is a solid fantasy play across the board.
Jan 28 - 9:19 PM

Jordan Clarkson scored 19 points with four assists, two rebounds and one triple in 30 minutes vs. the Bulls on Friday.

He's been carrying the Lakers lately and is a big reason that they are on a four-game winning streak. During that span, Clarkson is averaging 25.7 points, 6.2 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.2 triples. Lonzo Ball (knee) is doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Raptors and may not even play on this road trip, so Clarkson is a must-start player for the time being.
Jan 26 - 11:47 PM

Jordan Clarkson played 34 minutes off the bench and hit 8-of-17 shots for 22 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals in Tuesday's win over the Celtics.

He had 29 points and 10 dimes on Sunday and scored 33 points while flirting with a triple-double on Friday, but Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was out for both of those games. Lonzo Ball is still out with his knee injury, but KCP is back. Either way, Clarkson looks like a must-own, must-start fantasy player, at least until Ball is back in action.
Jan 24 - 1:38 AM

Jordan Clarkson led the Lakers to victory on Sunday, scoring 29 points on 12-of-19 shooting to go with six boards, 10 assists, one 3-pointer, three steals and one turnover in 38 minutes.

Clarkson was solid throughout this game, but he was particularly impressive after halftime, rocking a 32.3 usage rate while paving the way to victory for the Lakers. He's going to be much more involved in the offense while Lonzo Ball (knee) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Achilles) are out, and whether he's starting or coming off the bench, he's essentially guaranteed minutes in the 30s. As a side note, Clarkson became the first Laker to have a 25-10 game off the bench since Magic Johnson did it back in 1996.
Jan 21 - 7:07 PM

Jordan Clarkson finished with a season-high 33 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in Friday's 99-86 win against the Pacers.

Clarkson finished 14-of-19 from the field, including 3-of-6 from behind the 3-point line. It Clarkson's fifth-career 30-point game, and his first of the season. The Lakers needed every bit of it, as they had a dismal 2-of-14 night from the free-throw stripe. It was the worst percentage from the stripe by a winning NBA team since 1963. Five players took at least one free throw without a make, and only Clarkson was 2-of-3 to hit.
Jan 20 - 1:41 AM

Jordan Clarkson helped the Lakers to their fourth-straight win on Saturday, scoring 19 points on 9-of-18 shooting to go with one 3-pointer, three boards, four assists and two turnovers in 30 minutes.

Clarkson caught fire down the stretch, scoring 11 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter and overtime while rocking a 30.4 usage rate, and there really wasn't anything the Mavs could do to stop him. The Lakers are reportedly looking to ship Clarkson out of Los Angeles, so he probably bumped up his trade stock a bit with his clutch performance. In terms of fantasy hoops, a trade wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing for Clarkson, as his minutes have been sporadic with the Lakers this season.
