Tom Brady completed 28-of-48 passes for 505 yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots' Super Bowl 52 loss to the Eagles, 41-33.
In a track-meet shootout that broke the Super Bowl record for total yards by the end of the third quarter, Brady responded to the Eagles’ offensive barrage with an up-tempo aerial assault. After the Pats scored just 12 first-half points, Brady promptly force fed Rob Gronkowski four times for 68 yards and a touchdown on New England’s opening second-half drive, then found Chris Hogan on a deep slot route from 26 yards out. Brady’s third score went to Gronk on a jump ball over Ronald Darby. Down 38-33 with 2:21 left, Brady was strip sacked by Brandon Graham, then ran out of time on New England's final drive. This Super Bowl loss notwithstanding, Brady continued to keep Father Time at bay in 2017, leading the NFL in passing yards (4,577) with a 32:8 TD-to-INT ratio despite losing trusted slot WR Julian Edelman to a preseason ACL tear. 2018 will be Tom Terrific’s age-41 season, and the 2017 NFL MVP has shown few or no signs of slowing down. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Patriots owner Robert Kraft will meet with Bill Belichick and Tom Brady after the season to "hash out their issues."

Belichick is fully expected to be back, but this confirms Kraft plans to have a "clear the air" meeting in the offseason. The Patriots have an unresolved conflict with Brady's trainer and are dealing with some backlash from Belichick for the Jimmy Garoppolo trade. Despite rumors it could be Belichick's last year, the Patriots' power structure is going to remain in place in 2018.
