Paul Millsap accounted for ten points (4-of-12 FGs, 2-of-5 FTs), 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals and one blocked shot in 32 minutes Saturday vs. the Suns.
While Millsap didn’t shoot the ball as well as he would have liked, he did post his first double-double since November 30 against the Trail Blazers. The veteran forward hasn’t shot the ball particularly well since returning to the lineup after being sidelined due to a broken toe, making just over 42% of his shots from the field and 2-of-14 from beyond the arc (he’s gone four games without a made three-pointer). Trey Lyles (right wrist sprain) will not play vs. the Blazers on Sunday.

Paul Millsap should earn a few extra minutes with Lyles unavailable as a backup big man, with Mason Plumlee also getting a bump. Lyles hasn't been helping owners in standard leagues this season anyway, though, so this shouldn't impact many fantasy rosters.

Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Torrey Craig, Paul Millsap and Nikola Jokic will be in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Rockets.

Harris and Millsap have finally regained their spot in the starting five, which will shift Juancho Herangomez and Mason Plumlee back to the second unit. Harris should be able to see minutes in the 30s tonight, so make sure you have him active.

Gary Harris and Paul Millsap are expected to reclaim their starting spots on Monday vs. Houston.

The move was inevitable, but the Nuggets brought both Harris and Millsap along slowly to reduce the risk of a setback. It obviously paid off with that duo combining for 35 points in their last game. This means that Torrey Craig and Mason Plumlee will likely move back to the bench, but Plumlee could still have nice value in a 5-game week.
Jan 7 - 11:47 AM

Trey Lyles played only 13 minutes on Sunday and failed to do much, shooting 1-of-6 from the field to score four points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.

Denver continues to play without four key pieces of their lineup in Will Barton (hip, core), Gary Harris (hip), Paul Millsap (toe) and Isaiah Thomas (hip). Lyles seemed like an obvious beneficiary of Millsap's injury, but his opportunity has soured with brutal shooting -- 22-of-80 (27.5%) in his previous nine games. He could get hot at a moment's notice, but Miles Plumlee (10 points, seven boards) is playing great and most owners should leave Lyles on the wire.

Gary Harris (right hip strain) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hornets.

This will be the second straight game out of the lineup for Harris, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him miss Saturday's game in Atlanta as well. Torey Craig got the start on Wednesday, but it was Malik Beasley who saw the most minutes, although neither of those guys did anything all that noteworthy. Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap and Nikola Jokic will be asked to do more on the offensive end while Harris is out.

Mike Malone said in a "best case scenario," Gary Harris (right knee) could return for either Monday's game against the 76ers or Tuesday's game vs. the Raptors.

The best case scenario part of this quote implies that Harris may not make it back for next week's back-to-back set, although the Nuggets do have four games next week, so he is worth stashing if you're in a bye week or have an open IR-spot. In the meantime, it'll be Will Barton starting with Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap being asked to do more on offense. For what it's worth, Malone did acknowledge that Harris still hasn't done a lot of running.

Updating a previous report, Gary Harris (right knee) will miss at least the next week of action.

This injury couldn't have come at a worse time in fantasy hoops, so if you're currently battling through the playoffs and your league doesn't offer an IR-spot, you're going to seriously need to consider cutting Harris. Will Barton will be starting in his absence and there will be more shots for guys like Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap. Harris' next opportunity to play will come on March 26 against the 76ers.

Wilson Chandler scored 10 points on 5-of-10 shooting vs. Houston on Sunday, with three rebounds, three assists, three blocks and just one turnover in 32 minutes.

Chandler was coming off a nice performance with 18 points, 16 rebounds and four triples, and he's playing a huge role for the Nuggets as they fight to maintain a playoff berth. The veteran was averaging 37.5 minutes over the past four games and is worth scooping up if he's still available. His playing time will likely take a hit when Paul Millsap (wrist) returns, and he could cede the starting job, but most owners should take a wait-and-see approach.

Trey Lyles played well off Denver's bench on Sunday with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting, four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes.

Lyles tied his season-high with the four dimes, which he's done twice before this season, and he continues to give the second unit some scoring punch. The bad news is that Lyles' minutes have dipped to 19.6 over the past five games, and that's unlikely to improve when Paul Millsap (wrist) returns in 1-2 weeks.

Mason Plumlee (calf) said he's available to play vs. the Spurs on Friday.

Plumlee won't have any limitations after resting through the All-Star break. He was ruled 2-4 weeks after getting hurt on Jan. 29, so this is in line with initial expectations. With Nikola Jokic healthy and Paul Millsap (wrist) approaching a return, however, Plumlee is best left on the wire outside of deep leagues.
