There have been two consistent hallmark of Bournemouth results this season. One is coming from behind to secure points, no team has been better. The other is failing to keep clean sheets.
It has now been eight games since the Cherries kept their opponents scoreless, even though their form since Christmas has been on par with Top 6 teams. Steve Cook spoke about Bournemouth's recent run, revealing his frustration with having to come from behind so much because they have conceded: "I am not a huge fan of the fact we keep having to come from behind to win or draw because I am a defender and it means we are also conceding goals." He added: "It is horrible not keeping clean sheets. You pride yourself on them and we haven’t had one since Chelsea so it seems as if we are not doing our job correctly." Whilst Cook's sentiment is probably genuine, it's unreasonable to expect a sudden upturn in Bournemouth's clean sheet fortunes in the last games of the season. Apr 9 - 10:05 AM
