Rasmus Andersson has been in the Flames' lineup for 11 straight games.
Andersson didn't initially make the Flames' opening game roster, but was called up quickly because Travis Hamonic was out with a facial fracture. Andersson has been used somewhat sparingly at just 15:55 minutes per contest, but he's nevertheless managed to stay in the lineup thanks in part to the growth that he's showed this season. "Ras has always been able to make plays," said Flames assistant coach Ryan Huska. "But maybe it looked like he was holding on to it too long, at times, when there were options he had that he was losing because he didn’t move the puck quick enough. I think now he’s figured it out and listened to the feedback. He knows when he sees his options, the puck is on the tape." Andersson does have offensive upside, but he's not relevant in standard fantasy leagues yet. He has an assist in 11 games. Nov 1 - 9:52 AM
