Broncos agreed to terms with CB Tracy Porter on a one-year, $4 million contract.
Porter is reunited with the quarterback he intercepted in Super Bowl XLIV. The best cornerback left on the market, Porter had previously visited Tennessee and Cincinnati. Still just 25, Porter can start opposite Champ Bailey, allowing him to re-enter free agency in his prime after playing out the season on a prove-it deal.

Free agent CB Tracy Porter will reportedly visit the Broncos.
Porter has already visited the Bengals and Titans while drawing interest from the Raiders and Rams. He would likely replace Andre' Goodman in Denver, starting opposite Champ Bailey.

Free agent CB Tracy Porter has scheduled visits with the Titans and Rams.
Porter visited the Bengals last week. It's believed he was in Oakland visiting the Raiders on Monday. Still only 25, medical concerns may be lowering Porter's market value to the point where he'd accept a one-year, "prove-it" deal.

The Raiders will host free agent CB Tracy Porter for a visit "in the next couple of days."
Porter is tight with new Raiders coach Dennis Allen from their time together in New Orleans, and he has versatility to cover outside and the slot. Oakland is actively trying to upgrade a cornerback corps short on experience aside from Ron Bartell. Demarcus Van Dyke is currently No. 2 on the depth chart.

Archie Manning believes Peyton Manning will take things "year to year" for the rest of his career.
"I think he's always done a good job of not taking his health for granted," Archie said of his son. "But after missing a season, I think he is going year to year.'' There is little "year to year" about Peyton's contract, as he will be guaranteed $20 million base salaries in 2013 and 2014 if he can pass a physical next March. It's no secret that Peyton's neck woes could end his career on a dime, but he's a likely candidate to keep slinging it until it's no longer physically possible.

The Denver Post suggests Knowshon Moreno (ACL surgery) will not be fully cleared for training camp and is a candidate to start the 2012 season on the PUP list.
Moreno will be roughly nine months removed from surgery by August. If he's back to full health by September, Moreno could be used as a passing-down specialist for Peyton Manning. Regardless, the Broncos are expected to draft "at least" one back to add more "muscle" in the backfield behind Willis McGahee.

Broncos TE Julius Thomas underwent surgery last week to repair ligaments in his ankle.
Surgery was performed by noted foot doctor Robert Anderson. Thomas will be limited throughout Denver's offseason program, but should be healthy in time for training camp. A former basketball player and fourth-round pick in 2011, Thomas finished his rookie season with one catch. He'll vie for playing time with Virgil Green and Joel Dreessen behind Jacob Tamme this summer.

Broncos TE Virgil Green will not appeal his four-game suspension for violating the league's banned substances policy.
Green was suspended for ADHD. He took it "prior to obtaining an exemption from the league," and says he now has that exemption and is free to take ADHD going forward. "I apologize to my teammates, coaches and fans for my mistake," said Green, "and will make sure to never let anything like this happen again."
