Chris Devenski allowed two runs over two innings in a loss to the Blue Jays on Wednesday.
It was a bullpen day for Houston, and Devenski got off to a rough start by walking Billy McKinney and allowing a two-run homer to Randal Grichuk. That was all the damage he allowed, but it was enough to raise his season ERA to 4.34. It’ll be interesting to see how the Astros use Devenski in the postseason, as he’s not the same pitcher we saw in the 2017 campaign. Sep 26 - 6:38 PM
