Chelsea suffered their first loss of the season, and it was a big one as they fell to their derby rivals Tottenham, 3-1.
The match looked as though it could go either way on paper heading into the afternoon, but Chelsea were outclassed by Tottenham from the jump as the Blues were exposed defensively twice early on, seeing them fall behind 2-0 within 16 minutes. Meanwhile, the attack could not do much to fight back, with an effort by Eden Hazard in the first half and others by Willian and Alvaro Morata in the second were saved well by Hugo Lloris. Spurs put any thoughts of a comeback to rest with a third goal, but Chelsea did manage to get one on the board late. Olivier Giroud was subbed in and delivered yet another goal from the bench, heading home a ball from Cesar Azpilicueta. The loss sees Tottenham leapfrog Chelsea in the table. Nov 24 - 3:13 PM
