West Ham United youngster Grady Diangana is hoping to be the benefactor of Andriy Yarmolenko’s unfortunate Achilles injury which could end his season.
The 20-year-old was a standout performer in the Carabao Cup win over Macclesfield Town last month but has been limited to just 50 Premier League minutes. However, in Yarmolenko’s absence, Diangana looks set to play a more prominent role. "On Saturday we will see," said Pellegrini on his possible involvement at Leicester. "I think he's a young player with a lot of good technical conditions. He needs to improve on other things, but he has a chance." Andy Carroll is "improving" and is being carefully integrated back into first-team training. "I hope he might play after the international break." Meanwhile, Jack Wilshere [ankle] is recovering following a minor setback. Pedro Obiang is ruled out due to a "small" calf strain. "It's not serious but he needs some days to recover. He will be ready for the Carabao Cup game." Carlos Sanchez, Winston Reid and Manuel Lanzini remain on the side-lines. Oct 25 - 11:22 AM
