Brighton have secured an FA Cup quarter-final meeting with Manchester United as a reward for beating League Two side Coventry City at the weekend.
Brighton started with a second string side, giving a debut to record signing Jurgen Locadia and a first start to Ulloa on his return to the south coast. Only Stephens and March were retained from their league draw with Stoke City 7 days earlier. Locadia opened up his Brighton account after just a quarter of an hour having already hit the woodwork. He finished well after some poor marking left him with a lot of space to finish a low cross from deep by Knockaert. Dale Stephens headed home in the second half to double the lead from a corner by Suttner - he seemed to be the target man for crosses by the Seagulls at set pieces. Again light marking could be blamed for Brighton's third. This time Ulloa was there to head home a Bruno cross. Jonson Clarke-Harris scored a consolation goal to give the travelling support something to cheer but Coventry couldn't mount an unlikely comeback. Feb 19 - 3:46 AM
