Bournemouth's young midfielder Lewis Cook made his international debut on Tuesday night in England's 1-1 draw with Italy at Wembley.
The 21 year-old came on after 71 minutes to replace Man United's Jesse Lingard, becoming the first-ever active Bournemouth player to earn a cap for England's national side. The milestone marks yet another moment in the rapid ascent of the midfielder, who just last summer captained England's Under 20s to World Cup glory. Cook has taken Harry Arter's place in Bournemouth's midfield this season, completing 90 minutes in all ten of the Cherries' PL games in 2018. As a fantasy asset, Cook has not been very productive as he usually occupies the defensive midfield slot ahead of Bournemouth's shaky defence. Mar 27 - 9:10 PM
