ASP/ASP.NET Programmer - Full Time Position

Rotoworld is looking for an ASP/ASP.NET Programmer with a passion for fantasy sports to work in our Stamford, CT office. The primary responsibility will be to provide services for the Sandbox.com fantasy games site, as well as for various Rotoworld.com or NBCSports.com projects, such as the $100,000 Fantasy Challenge. To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to work in Stamford CT (we are an easy walk from the Stamford Metro North Railroad station). Overall Role & Responsibilities:

Prepare seasonal fantasy games for Sandbox.com, including DB configuration and ASP programming

Assist with Customer Service issues related to league setup and/or statistics issues

ssist with application development of Rotoworld.com

Maintain and enhance NBCSports.com fantasy games

Applicants are required to know the following technologies:

3+ years experience with Active Server Page Programming

1-3 years experience with ASP.NET (VB.NET preferred)

Working knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server preferred)

CSS

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience developing commercial web applications

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently to achieve goals

Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, experience with requirements documents and unit testing.
