Patric Hornqvist (concussion) has been skating in Pittsburgh during the last couple of days.

This news is straight from head coach Mike Sullivan. It's good news considering this is Hornqvists' fourth diagnosed concussion since the start of the 2016-17 season.

Jakob Silfverberg is questionable to return to Tuesday's game because of a lower-body injury.

Silfverberg exited the game after he got tangled up with Detroit's Mike Green along the boards. His leg appeared to get pinned under him awkwardly when he fell, which could mean a knee or ankle injury.
Jan 15 - 9:02 PM

Juuse Saros will tend to the twine against Washington on Tuesday night.

Saros stopped all 13 shots he faced in a relief appearance against Carolina on Sunday and this will be his first start since Jan. 5 when he posted a win over Montreal. The Predators backup has a 10-5-1 record this year with a 2.62 GAA and .909 save percentage.
Jan 15 - 7:40 PM

Pheonix Copley will be in the crease on Tuesday night.

Copley will start for a second straight game after he played in Monday's 4-1 loss to St. Louis. This could mean that Braden Holtby's eye isn't quite 100 percent, but he seems to be well enough to be on the bench again as the backup.
Jan 15 - 7:31 PM

James Reimer will start Tuesday night against Montreal.

It was previously reported that Roberto Luongo would get the nod based on the morning skate, but Reimer led the Panthers onto the ice for pregame warmups.
Jan 15 - 7:11 PM

Alex Stalock will be in goal for Tuesday's game versus Los Angeles.

Stalock made a relief appearance against Philadelphia on Monday night after Devan Dubnyk was pulled. He stopped five of six shots during 17:33 of playing time in Minnesota's 7-4 loss. This will be his first start since Jan. 8 when he lost 4-0 to Boston. Stalock has a 5-4-0 record this year with a 2.76 goals-against average and .896 save percentage.
Jan 15 - 6:02 PM

Jordan Binnington will be in the crease Tuesday night against the New York Islanders.

Binnington was excellent in the first three starts of his NHL career last week, while going 3-0-0 with a 0.67 goals-against average, a .974 save percentage and one shutout.
Jan 15 - 5:52 PM

Antti Niemi will get the nod on Tuesday night versus Florida.

Niemi, who hasn't played since last Tuesday when he won against Detroit, will get the second half of Montreal's back-to-back set after Carey Price helped the Canadiens defeat Boston in overtime on Monday. Niemi has a 7-4-1 record this campaign with a 3.84 goals-against-average and .886 save percentage.
Jan 15 - 5:06 PM

Elias Pettersson (knee) has not been ruled out yet for Wednesday's game against Edmonton.

Pettersson skated on Tuesday morning and is feeling better. Coach Travis Green said that the rookie forward is listed as day-to-day.
Jan 15 - 3:45 PM

Jaroslav Halak will get the nod on Wednesday against Philadelphia.

Halak allowed three goals in a 4-2 loss to Washington last Thursday. He has posted a 13-7-2 record this season with a 2.39 goals-against average and .924 save percentage.
Jan 15 - 3:15 PM

Thomas Chabot (upper body) will be back in the lineup on Wednesday night against Colorado.

Chabot missed eight games due to a suspected shoulder injury. He has generated 10 goals and 38 points in 38 games this season. Feel free to get him back in your lineup.
Jan 15 - 2:48 PM

Joonas Donskoi (upper body) is probable to play on Tuesday night.

Donskoi is officially listed as a game-time decision, but was confident that would be able to play after participating in the morning skate. The Sharks also had Dylan Gambrell out late during the session, which suggests Donskoi could be good to go.
