Blake Wheeler and the Winnipeg Jets were held scoreless in a 3-0 loss to the Nashville Predators Thursday night.

The American-born winger was also a minus-3 in the 3-0 loss to the Nashville Predators Thursday. Wheeler and Ben Chiarot were tied for the team lead in shots throughout the game with four each, but couldn't solve Pekka Rinne. Wheeler has one goal and two assists in four games.

Anders Nilsson will get another start for the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday when they face the Winnipeg Jets.

This will mark the fourth straight start for Nilsson. He was won the previous three, posting a 1.67 goals-against-average and a .943 save percentage. The Swedish netminder could make for an interesting story if he could continue his strong and consistent play going throughout the season.

Jonathan Quick (lower body) has been taken off the injured reserve list.

In a corresponding move, Peter Budaj has been sent to the AHL. Quick was also the first goaltender to leave the ice following Thursday's morning skate. The stage appears to be set for him to make his return in Thursday's contest against the Islanders.

Johnny Gaudreau is not dealing with concussion symptoms after being pulled from Wednesday's game.

After Gaudreau absorbed a hit from Charlie McAvoy midway through the third period, a concussion spotter ended Gaudreau's night. The results of Gaudreau's testing weren't immediately known after the contest, but it seems everything is fine. Look for Gaudreau to play on Friday.

Corey Crawford (concussion) will play between the pipes Thursday night.

It's Crawford's first game since Dec. 23, 2017. While rust is naturally a concern, Crawford is a vital part of the Blackhawks when he's healthy. He had a 2.27 GAA and .929 save percentage in 28 contests in 2017-18 before he was injured.
