The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired Marcus Kruger from the Arizona Coyotes.

This is the second time Kruger has been traded this summer. He had a goal and six points in 48 games with Carolina in 2017-18 before being sent to the AHL. It was later revealed that he had been playing through a sports hernia so he's a potential bounce back candidate this season. Kruger is returning to Chicago after being apart from the organization for only one season.

Drake Batherson scored a goal in Thursday’s 2-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings.

Batherson was all over the ice, creating chances and skating circles around the Red Wings. He was eventually rewarded for his efforts with a power play marker with the assist going to Matt Duchene. The 20-year-old forward was a fourth-round pick from 2017 and picked up 20 points in 14 AHL games prior to being recalled. He has serious offensive upside and could be worth picking up in some leagues. Keep your eye on him.
Nov 15 - 10:24 PM

Anthony Beauvillier scored three goals and picked up an assist in Thursday’s 7-5 win over the New York Rangers.

Beauvillier started tonight with just one goal in 16 games to open the season but finishes it with just five Islanders having more goals than him. He combined with Valtteri Filppula for the first two and he finished off his hat trick with a power play goal 5:13 into the second period. Beauvillier then ended his night with an assist on Leo Komarov’s third period goal. The 21-year-old winger was a popular sleeper pick to open the season. Keep an eye on him. Brock Nelson, Anders Lee and Cal Clutterbuck also scored in the win.
Nov 15 - 10:08 PM

Mike Hoffman picked up an assist in Thursday’s 7-3 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Hoffman got the primary assist on Aaron Ekblad’s power play marker in the second period, extending his point-streak to 14 games, a franchise record. The winger was acquired in an off-season trade with the Ottawa Senators after having a falling out with former Senators defender Erik Karlsson. The 28-year-old is up to 16 points in 16 games as a member of the Panthers. Nick Bjugstad and Keith Yandle also scored in this one.
Nov 15 - 10:00 PM

Brian Elliott gave up two goals on 25 shots before leaving with an injury in Thursday’s 3-0 loss to the New Jersey Devils.

It was a solid outing from Elliott who didn’t get any help offensively from his teammates tonight. To add insult to injury, Philadelphia’s starter was forced to leave the game after Kyle Palmieri beat him on a wraparound with what appears to be a lower-body injury. He’ll see his record fall to 6-7-0 with a 2.59 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage. The Flyers appear to have the worst luck when it comes to injuries suffered by their goaltenders.
Nov 15 - 9:57 PM

Keith Kinkaid stopped all 29 shots he faced in Thursday’s 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Kinkaid was sharp tonight, making a few nice stops and getting a little lucky with one or two going off the post. With the Devils leading 1-0 midway through the final period, New Jersey’s goalkeeper made a nice save on a redirect by Claude Giroux to keep his team ahead, arguably his best of the night. It’s Kinkaid’s third shutout of the season, giving him an 8-5-1 record, a 2.60 goals-against-average and a .917 save percentage.
Nov 15 - 9:55 PM

Brayden Point scored a hat trick during Thursday’s 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Wow. Point needed just 91 seconds to complete a natural hat trick. His first goal of the night came with three seconds left in the opening period, and he opened up the second with goals at the 0:41 and 1:28 mark. All three goals came on the power play, giving the 22-year-old center 12 goals and 22 points in 19 games this season. It’s officially the sixth-fastest hat trick in NHL history. Yanni Groude got the game-winner in this one.
Nov 15 - 9:41 PM

The Minnesota Wild will be without Zach Parise on Thursday night against the Vancouver Canucks.

Parise was initially listed as questionable for tonight's matchup but he won't suit up. Nate Prosser will be the only healthy scratch.

T.J. Oshie is uncertain for Friday's game against Colorado.

Oshie appeared to look woozy after he was slammed to the ice by Winnipeg's Josh Morrissey on Wednesday night. His status is considered to be day-to-day. Oshie has had some concussion issues in the past.
Nov 15 - 7:11 PM

Devan Dubnyk will be in goal on Thursday night when the Wild host the Canucks.

Dubnyk admitted earlier today of being still sore from a collision with Washington's Tom Wilson. He'll fight through those pains tonight. Minnesota's starter has a 8-4-2 record, a 2.34 goals-against-average and a .927 save percentage.
Nov 15 - 7:05 PM

Tanner Pearson will make his debut with Pittsburgh on Thursday night.

Pearson will play on the top line with Evgeni Malkin and Patric Hornqvist. Sidney Crosby is out due to injury, so Pearson's combination should get plenty of ice time.
Nov 15 - 6:42 PM

Tomas Hertl (lower body) will miss Thursday's game.

When asked if Hertl's injury was serious, Sharks coach Peter DeBoer added that he's not expected to miss "weeks." He'll be evaluated again on Friday, so it might not be long before we have more information. Hertl has five goals and 16 points in 16 games.
