Patric Hornqvist is on the injured reserve list.

The Penguins recently listed Hornqvist as being out week-to-week, so it makes sense to move him to the IR. He has 16 goals and 31 points in 49 contests in 2017-18.

Alexander Kerfoot collected three assists in a 7-3 win versus the Kings on Wednesday night.

Kerfoot found a nice way to celebrate his 100th career NHL game as he recorded three assists in a 7-3 against the Kings. His first assist of the night helped setup Kamenev’s first period powerplay goal, while his other two assists came at even strength to help setup Nemeth and Barrie’s goals. Kerfoot’s production has mostly flown under the radar this season as the spotlight shines brightly on the first line. From second line and second powerplay duties, the 24-year old has managed four goals and 17 points in 21 games this season.

Johnny Gaudreau registered a goal and an assist in a 6-3 win against the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday night.

After having previously gone pointless in four straight games, Gaudreau is now on a three game point streak in which he has recorded two goals and seven points. With his recent efforts, the 25-year old winger has brought his season totals to eight goals and 26 points. Dube, Bennett, Tkachuk, Jankowski and Ryan also scored in the win.
Nov 22 - 1:09 AM

Patrik Laine scored a pair of goals in a 6-3 loss to the hands of the Calgary Flames on Wednesday night.

The 20-year old sniper scored the second and third Winnipeg goals as the Jets tried to climb out of a four-goal hole that was established in the first period. Laine’s goals are as close as his team would get to tying the game, but the Finn has now scored five goals and six points in his last three games bringing him to a total of 13 goals and 16 points in 2018-19. Tanev also scored in the loss.
Nov 22 - 1:02 AM

Ryan Getzlaf registered a goal and an assist in a 4-3 win against the struggling Canucks on Wednesday night.

His two points aside, Getzlaf also finished the night with a plus-one rating, two penalty minutes, two shots on goal and seven hits, which should make many fantasy owners very content. WIth tonight’s scoring, the 33-year old center has amassed six goals and 16 points in 17 games this season. Kase, Henrique and Kossila also scored for the Ducks in the win.
Nov 22 - 12:48 AM

Max Pacioretty scored two goals including the game-winner in a 3-2 overtime win against the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday night.

The goals were only his fifth and sixth of the season, but Pacioretty seems to be heating up now as he has four goals in his last three games and six points in his last five. Tomas Nosek also scored in the win.
Nov 22 - 12:05 AM

Derek Stepan scored both of Arizona’s goals in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights on Wednesday night.

Stepan opened the scoring with less than a minute left in the first period and later notched the tying goal on the powerplay to force overtime. The 28-year old center now has six goals and 10 points so far this season and is on pace to finish with just 41 points. That total would mark his lowest point total in a season since he scored 45 points as a rookie in 2010-11. Unless he gets hot moving forward, he should only be owned in deeper fantasy leagues.
Nov 21 - 11:56 PM

Mike Hoffman scored a goal in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

It looked like Hoffman's 16-game point streak was going to come to an end but a Panthers power play with just under five minutes remaining in regulation opened the door for Florida's winger to smash a one-timer home to extend his streak. The 28-year-old winger has picked up 10 goals and 19 points during his scoring spree. Sasha Barkov and Troy Brouwer also scored in the loss.
Nov 21 - 10:30 PM

Nikita Kucherov scored a goal and assisted on two others in Wednesday’s 7-3 win over the Florida Panthers.

Kucherov took a feed from Victor Hedman and blasted a one-timer in behind Roberto Luongo for his ninth goal of the season. The Russian winger then followed that up with the primary assist on Adam Erne’s third goal of the campaign before getting another assist, this time in the third period on a goal by Steven Stamkos. Kucherov now finds himself at 27 points in 22 games. Yanni Gourde, Ryan McDonagh, Dan Girardi and Mathieu Joseph also scored in the win.
Nov 21 - 10:27 PM

Jeff Skinner scored a goal in Wednesday’s 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Alex Lyon gave up a big rebound from a Jason Pominville shot that jumped out right to Skinner for his 15th goal of the season. Skinner has just been ridiculously hot after starting his Sabres career without a point after four games, earning himself 15 goals and 23 points in 18 games since. Tage Thompson, Jacob Larsson, Sam Reinhart and Evan Rodrigues also scored in the win.
Nov 21 - 10:23 PM

Andreas Athanasiou scored a couple of goals in Wednesday’s 3-2 overtime win over the Boston Bruins.

Athanasiou got his first of the night, 8:59 into the final period to force overtime and followed that up with the winner in the extra frame, winning a hustle play in front of the net with a spin and score. The 24-year-old winger finds himself at nine goals and 14 points in 17 games this season. Tyler Bertuzzi also scored in the win.
Nov 21 - 10:16 PM

Buffalo has summoned Lawrence Pilut from the minors.

Pilut has amassed three goals and 22 points in 15 games with Rochester of the AHL this season. The 22-year-old is tied for first in scoring among all players in his first AHL campaign. Buffalo made the move because Marco Scandella won't play Wednesday night.
