Kevin Hayes (upper body) has been ruled out for Thursday and Saturday.

Hayes won't be back on Thursday and the Rangers don't see a point to getting him back in the lineup before the break. He will get some additional time to rest as a result. His third marker of the evening represented his 100th career NHL goal, so it was extra special. He'll look to extend his point streak to six games when the Sharks turn it around Wednesday night and hit the road for Arizona. He has five goals, eight points and a plus-10 rating during the impressive five-game run.
