Patrick Kane picked up two assists in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Calgary Flames.

Kane picked up a couple of primary assists on goals scored by Nick Schmaltz and Vinnie Hinostroza, leaving him one shy of 500 assists in his career. Kane is now sitting at 20 goals and 52 points in as many games. Anthony Duclair also scored in the loss. Kane's 499 assists before his 30th birthday puts him third all-time for a US-born player, passing Craig Janney.

Mats Zuccarello is not on the ice for warmups and is not expected to play vs. the Vancouver Canucks.

This will mark the third straight game that Zuccarello misses. His 10 points in 15 games will be missed in New York's lineup.

Brandon Saad (arm) is not expected to play on Monday night against the Carolina Hurricanes.

This will mark the second straight game that Saad misses. He has four goals and eight points in 16 games this season.
Nov 12 - 6:38 PM

Viktor Arvidsson is on the injured reserve list with an upper-body issue.

Arvidsson sustained the injury during Saturday's game. He was slashed by Esa Lindell and subsequently crashed into the boards. With him on the injured reserve list, he's going to miss at least the next three games. It's terrible luck given that he was making his return from a lower-body injury on Saturday.
Nov 12 - 3:10 PM

Jack Campbell has a meniscus tear in his knee and needs surgery.

Campbell is expected to miss the next four-to-six weeks as a result. The timing couldn't be worse for the Kings given that Jonathan Quick is also sidelined with a knee injury. Campbell suffered the injury during Saturday's contest.
Nov 12 - 1:24 PM

Anton Khudobin will probably start for Dallas on Monday.

Khudobin was the first goaltender off the ice following the morning skate, which is usually a good indicator of who will start. He has a 2.37 GAA and .926 save percentage in five games this season.
Nov 12 - 1:01 PM

Alexander Radulov (lower body) will indeed make his return on Monday.

Radulov was already projected to return, but now it's been confirmed. He's only played one game since Oct. 16, but got off to a great start this season. He's scored five goals and 11 points in seven contests.
Nov 12 - 12:59 PM

Brett Pesce is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Pesce won't play on Monday night against Chicago as a result. He managed to stay in Saturday's game after a knee-on-knee hit, but he wasn't on the ice Sunday and Monday for practice.
Nov 12 - 11:36 AM

Pavel Buchnevich will be sidelined for four-to-six weeks because of a broken thumb.

Nov 12 - 10:03 AM

Logan Couture left Sunday's game in the third period with an undisclosed injury and did not return.

Couture was adamant before the game that the Sharks were doing a poor job of playing defensive hockey and the team turned things around Sunday in a 3-1 win but Couture wasn't around at the end due to the injury. The Sharks will likely update his injury on Tuesday as they will not practice Monday. Couture is having a strong season with six goals and 17 points in 18 games. Stay tuned.
Nov 12 - 8:36 AM

Evander Kane scored a goal and assisted on another in Sunday’s 3-1 win over the Calgary Flames.

Kane needed just 50 seconds to take a feed from Joe Pavelski and snipe home his sixth goal of the season for the Sharks. Kane then followed that up with some great work behind the net to feed Donskoi who buried his fourth goal of the year. The 27-year-old Kane was in a bit of a cold spell before tonight’s game, picking up just one point in his last seven games but he now finds himself at 13 points in 18 games this season.
Nov 11 - 11:38 PM

Mark Scheifele scored two goals and added an assist in Sunday's 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.

The Devils completely forgot to cover Scheifele when Blake Wheeler found him alone in front for his first of the night. Scheifele then picked up another goal, this time being in the right place at the right time when Jacob Trouba's point shot deflected right to him at the side of goal. The 25-year-old center is up to nine goals and 19 points in 16 games this season.
