Connor Hellebuyck stopped all 25 shots he faced in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

The Jets opened the scoring early, as Patrik Laine picked up a power play tally less than three minutes into the game. That's all Hellebuyck needed to lock down a win. The Jets netminder hasn't lost in regulation in his last six games (4-0-2). He owns a 27-6-8 record with a 2.30 goals-against-average and a .925 save percentage this season. He's also up to five shutouts in 2017-18.

Jimmy Howard stopped 24 of 25 shots in Tuesday’s 6-1 loss to the Arizona Coyotes.

Howard looked like he was headed for his first shutout of the season before Lawson Crouse beat him with a hard wrister midway through the final frame. It’s a goal Howard would probably like to have back. The veteran netminder will see his record improve to 6-5-2 with a 2.69 goals-against-average and a .920 save percentage. Don’t look now but the 34-year-old goaltender has won five straight games, giving him some fantasy appeal as we move forward.
Nov 13 - 10:29 PM

Mike Green scored a goal and assisted on two others in Tuesday’s 6-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes.

Green started off his night with a secondary assist on Anthony Mantha’s sixth goal of the year. Following that up with another secondary assist (Michael Rasmussen) before scoring a goal of his own midway through the final period to give the Red Wings a 6-0 lead. It was the 33-year-old’s first goal of the season, bringing him up to seven points in nine games this season. Dennis Cholowski, Luke Glendening and Andreas Anthanasiou also scored in the blowout win.
Nov 13 - 10:26 PM

Jeff Skinner scored a goal in Tuesday’s 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Sam Reinhart’s shot from the right circle was blocked by Victor Hedman in front but Skinner found the loose puck and buried it for his 13th goal of the season. The 26-year-old Skinner has now incredibly scored 12 goals over his last 11 games, bringing him to 20 points in 18 games this season. Kyle Okposo also scored in the win.
Nov 13 - 10:22 PM

Logan Couture (lower body) is expected to play on Tuesday night.

Couture skated in the pregame warmups with regular linemates Tomas Hertl and Timo Meier, so he should be good to go against Nashville.
Nov 13 - 10:11 PM

Juuse Saros will start Tuesday night against San Jose.

Saros was the projected starter after Pekka Rinne played in Monday's shootout loss to Anaheim. The Predators backup has a 7-2-0 record this season with a 2.67 GAA and .909 save percentage.
Nov 13 - 10:07 PM

Evgenii Dadonov scored a goal in Tuesday’s 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

It took Aaron Ekblad 8:15 into the second period to open the scoring and Dadonov followed with a goal of his own nine minutes later. With Mike Hoffman picking up a secondary assist on Ekblad’s goal, he and Dadonov became the first set of teammates to record simultaneous 12-game point streaks since Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin accomplished the same feat between Oct. 23 – Nov. 17, 2007 (13 total games). Dadonov’s goal gives him a team-high eight, leaving him with 17 points in 15 games.
Nov 13 - 9:39 PM

Louis Domingue will indeed start on Tuesday night versus the Buffalo Sabres.

Domingue appeared to be the starter based on the morning skate, but now we have confirmation after he followed Erik Cernak out for the pregame warmups. Tampa Bay gave the rookie a solo lap before Domingue and the rest of the team took to the ice.
Nov 13 - 7:05 PM

Jakob Chychrun has signed a six-year contract extension with the Arizona Coyotes.

Chychrun, who will make his season debut on Tuesday night after recovering from knee surgery, has appeared in 118 career games with Arizona and he has contributed 34 points. "We are extremely pleased to sign Jakob to a six-year contract extension," said GM John Chayka. "Jakob is a young, highly skilled defenseman with an incredibly bright future. He has battled through some adversity with injuries the last two years, but we remain confident that he has the necessary size, talent and work ethic to be one of our core players for many years to come."
Nov 13 - 6:59 PM

Jacob Markstrom will make his ninth straight start on Tuesday.

Markstrom played Monday in a 2-1 loss to the Rangers, but coach Travis Green doesn't think it was "a particularly taxing night last night." The Canucks netminder faced 27 shots in the contest. Markstrom has a 7-4-2 record this year with a 3.15 goals-against average and .900 save percentage.
Nov 13 - 5:12 PM

Antti Niemi will be in the crease on Tuesday night against Edmonton.

Nov 13 - 3:24 PM
