The New York Islanders have officially announced that they will play 60 games at Nassau Coliseum over the next three seasons.

That 60 game total includes preseason contests. When it comes to the 2018-19 campaign, the Islanders will play 12 games at Nassau Coliseum with the remaining 29 home games being at Barclays Center. This is all a temporary arrangement as the Islanders wait for the construction of their new home at Belmont Park.

Joe Pavelski picked up a pair of even-strength goals in Saturday's 4-0 victory against the Blues.

Pavelski chipped in with a plus-2 rating, a blocked shot and a hit over 19:15 of ice time while winning six of his nine faceoff chances (66.7 percent). He has posted at least one goal in four consecutive outings, totaling six goals with nine points and a plus-6 rating while notching a pair of power-play markers during the impressive run. He'll try to keep up the hot play Tuesday night against Edmonton.
Nov 18 - 4:47 AM

Erik Karlsson recorded his first goal of the season while adding an assist in Saturday's 4-0 victory against the Blues.

Karlsson also chipped in with a plus-3 rating, three blocked shots and two hits over 20:55 of ice time. He has managed back-to-back multi-point games for the first time since donning a teal sweater, and he is working on a three-game point streak which ties a season best. Normally this wouldn't be terribly noteworthy giving his production in the past, but it certainly is this season. It appears he is awakening from his season-long slumber.
Nov 18 - 4:39 AM

Calle Jarnkrok scored three goals in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Los Angeles Kings.

What a monster performance from Jarnkrok who first got on the board with an even-strength goal midway through the second period before finishing with power play and shorthanded goals in the third period. He is the seventh player since 2012-13 to record a hat trick that included goals in all three facets of the game. Nick Bonino and Kyle Turris also scored in the win. The 27-year-old Jarnkrok is up to six goals and eight points in 17 games this season.
Nov 17 - 11:06 PM

Elias Pettersson scored a goal in Saturday’s 3-2 loss to the Montreal Canadiens.

Working a power play, Pettersson took a feed from Ben Hutton and blasted one-timer in behind Carey Price. It’s Pettersson’s 11th goal of the season, breaking a four-game pointless skid. The 19-year-old rookie has been absolutely sensational this season. He leads the team in goals and is tied with Bo Horvat for the lead in points with 18. Michael Del Zotto also scored in the loss.
Nov 17 - 9:55 PM

Mark Stone scored a couple of goals in Saturday’s 6-4 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Stone got his first of the night off a redirect from Thomas Chabot and followed that up with one shorthanded in the second period. The 26-year-old winger has 14 points in his last nine games, bringing himself to nine goals and 23 points in 20 games. He’s playing for a new deal, showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. Matt Duchene (x2), Cody Ceci and Brady Tkachuk also scored in the win.
Nov 17 - 9:48 PM

Mike Hoffman scored a goal and assisted on another in Saturday’s 4-2 loss to the New York Rangers.

Hoffman took a pass from Evgenii Dadonov, blasting a one-timer in behind Henrik Lundqvist for his eighth goal of the season. The goal extended Hoffman’s point streak to 15 games, becoming the 11th different NHL player to record a point streak of at least 15 games in his first season with a new club. The 28-year-old winger is up to 18 points in 17 games this season after getting an assist on Aaron Ekblad's third goal of the season.
Nov 17 - 9:43 PM

Chris Kreider scored a goal and assisted on two others in Saturday’s 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers.

Kreider started off his night with a couple of secondary assists in the opening period before putting the game to bed with a power play marker midway through the final frame. He has now picked up five points (three goals, two assists) in his last two outings and leads the Rangers in goals (11) and points (18) this season.
Nov 17 - 9:42 PM

Sergei Bobrovsky allowed one goal on 31 shots in Saturday’s 4-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

With the Blue Jackets holding a 4-1 lead in the final period, Bobrovsky denied Jordan Martinook on a shorthanded breakaway to kill any chance at a comeback for Carolina. The Russian goaltender has now won four straight games, allowing just one goal in each of those contests. It appears that his early season struggles are behind him. The 30-year-old goaltender will see his record improve to 7-6-0 with a 2.60 goals-against-average and a .917 save percentage.
Nov 17 - 9:41 PM

Cam Atkinson scored three goals and added an assist in Saturday’s 4-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes inexplicably left Atkinson alone in the slot, and that is where Artemi Panarin found him for a one-timer for his first of the night. Atkinson then got his second off a weird scramble in front, with Panarin finding him again. He finally finished off his hat trick with a power play marker in the second period. It’s now four straight games with a goal for Atkinson (six total during that stretch), giving him 12 goals and 20 points in 19 games this season. He added an assist on Zach Werenski’s fourth goal of the season. It’s the first hat trick of his career.
Nov 17 - 9:34 PM

Rasmus Dahlin scored a goal and picked up an assist in Saturday’s 3-2 win over the Minnesota Wild.

Kyle Okposo dumped the puck to Dahlin, who went around a few Wild skaters before sending a feed over to Jake McCabe for an easy goal. Another goal, this time by Dahlin to tie the game at two gave the 18-year-old five points in his last four games, bringing him to 10 points in 20 games this season. Jason Pominville completed the third period comeback with 90 seconds remaining in regulation.
Nov 17 - 8:37 PM

David Krejci is slated to play with David Pastrnak and Anders Bjork on Saturday night.

Patrice Bergeron is out due to an upper-body injury so the lineup has undergone some changes. Brad Marchand is projected to play alongside Joakim Nordstrom and Jake DeBrusk.
