The Kings have listed him as doubtful to return. Doughty logged 9:25 of ice time in the first period prior to his exit.

Ferland has already been ruled out for the remainder of the match. He was playing in just his first game back from a concussion after missing four contests. Ferland logged 5:11 of ice time in the first period.

Niemi will give Carey Price a break and get his first start since Nov. 23 in Buffalo when he dropped a 3-2 OT decision to the Sabres. He has been successful versus the Wild in his career, which also played a part in coach Claude Julien's decision to go with him over Price.

Petersen was a former prospect of the Sabres, but he opted not to sign with the team and instead agreed to terms with Los Angeles as a free agent. He has gone 4-4-0 this season with a 2.41 GAA and .929 save percentage in nine appearances.
