Peter Cehlarik scored a pair of goals in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Not bad for a guy that was making his regular-season debut tonight. Cehlarik's first goal gave the Bruins a 2-0 lead in the first period, but Flyers center Sean Couturier responded by scoring the next three goals. The 23-year-old added his second of the night with just over one minute remaining in regulation. He finished the night with a plus-2 rating, two penalty minutes and two shots on goal in 17:40 of ice time.

Sean Couturier scored a hat trick in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins.

Couturier scored two of his three goals in the second period. The first one tied the game, 2-2, while the second one gave the Flyers a 3-2 lead. He finished off the late in the third frame to give his team a two-goal advantage. Couturier finished the night with a plus-1 rating and five shots on goal in 21:47 of ice time. The 26-year-old is up to 19 goals and 19 assists in 45 games this season. Couturier is now riding a five-game point streak. He's picked up nine points during that stretch.

Nathan MacKinnon picked up a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators.

Unfortunately for the Avalanche, they allowed the Senators to score the first three goals of the game in the second period. MacKinnon registered the primary helper on Nikita Zadorov's fourth goal of the season and he added a power-play tally late in the third period. MacKinnon finished the night with a minus-1 rating, three shots on goal and two blocked shots in 23:48 of ice time. The 23-year-old is up to 27 goals and 68 points in just 47 games this season.

Matt Duchene scored two goals and an assist in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

Duchene was back in the lineup after missing three games for personal reasons. He managed to do some serious damage to his former team. Duchene helped set up a second-period goal by Ryan Dzingel before adding two of his own, including an empty-netter late in regulation. The 28-year-old finished the night with a plus-3 rating and two shots on goal in 16:55 of ice time. He now has 20 goals and 45 points in 38 games this season. Duchene is certainly worth owning in all standard fantasy leagues.

Hayes was on the ice Wednesday morning in a regular jersey, so he is making progress. He has been out since Jan. 2 due to an upper-body injury.
