Bo Horvat has apparently been activated ahead of Sunday's match against Winnipeg.

Horvat has missed the last five weeks with a fractured ankle, but it seems like he will suit up against the Jets. At the time of his injury, Horvat was the Canucks' best player with 20 points in 28 games. Since that time Brock Boeser stepped up big time (41 points in 43 games) and will now form a great duo with Horvat. Activate Horvat without delay.

T.J. Oshie will return to the lineup on Tuesday night.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, as it was expected he would be back following the team's morning skate. Oshie will play with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom against Detroit. He has nine goals and 14 points in 18 games this campaign.
Dec 11 - 7:21 PM

Niemi will give Carey Price a break and get his first start since Nov. 23 in Buffalo when he dropped a 3-2 OT decision to the Sabres. He has been successful versus the Wild in his career, which also played a part in coach Claude Julien's decision to go with him over Price.
Dec 11 - 5:37 PM

Cal Petersen will get the call against Buffalo on Tuesday night.

Petersen was a former prospect of the Sabres, but he opted not to sign with the team and instead agreed to terms with Los Angeles as a free agent. He has gone 4-4-0 this season with a 2.41 GAA and .929 save percentage in nine appearances.

Matt Murray (lower body) took part in a full practice on Tuesday.

"It feels good. You kind of take it for granted how much fun it is out there with the whole team, rather than by yourself," said Murray after the session. Murray isn't sure if he will be ready to return on Wednesday yet.
Dec 11 - 3:23 PM

Paul Stastny (lower body) could be back in the lineup on Wednesday.
