Browns CB Denzel Ward (hip) is questionable for Week 10 against the Falcons.

Ward returned to a limited practice on Thursday and appears to be on track to play. With LB Joe Schobert (hamstring) also seemingly on track to play, the Browns defense will be a bit healthier this Sunday.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Joe Flacco (hip) "does not have to practice to play."

Harbaugh has been adamant Flacco will start if he is healthy enough to play, and that will be the case even if he fails to get in any practice reps this week. "He’s practiced the whole season. He’s practiced for 11 years," Harbaugh said. If Flacco cannot play, the Ravens would likely turn to rookie Lamar Jackson, but it is also possible Robert Griffin III gets the nod.

SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reports Jets GM Mike Maccagnan is not on the hot seat.

Coach Todd Bowles seems all but certain to be fired after the season if he even makes it that far, but "Maccagnan's job doesn't appear to be in danger at all," according to Vacchiano. After trading up for Sam Darnold in March, the Jets apparently want to see what Maccagnan can build with what should be over $100 million in cap space this spring.

Dolphins coach Adam Gase said Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) threw without pain on Sunday.

It was the first time Tannehill has thrown in a week. "It seemed like it went well," Gase said. "It’s not like he’s out there throwing 60-yard throws. They have a progression of how they want to do it. They said it was a good first step and he felt good. So that’s a positive." Miami reportedly hopes Tannehill is able to return following the bye, but that is anything but a given.

George Kittle caught 9-of-10 targets for 83 yards in the 49ers' Week 10 loss to the Giants.

Kittle has emerged as a top 3-4 tight end in the league as a sophomore and has really steadied himself as a weekly difference maker. He's the main vein of the passing offense, and the nine grabs and 10 targets set new season bests. Kittle was cooking in the first half with 5-66 on five targets. He later had a catch called back on a penalty. Kittle will get the Bucs in Week 12 after the bye.

Saquon Barkley rushed 20 times for 67 yards and caught 4-of-5 targets for 33 yards in the Giants' Week 10 win over the 49ers.

It's Barkley's eighth 100-yard game in nine contests as a pro. There wasn't much running room to be found, and Barkley's biggest play was a 23-yard catch across the middle on a third down on the final game-winning drive with the Giants still down 23-20. Bigger days are ahead obviously, and the Giants will head home on a short week to face the Bucs' bottom-barrel defense in Week 11.
Nov 12 - 11:41 PM

Matt Breida rushed 17 times for 101 yards and one touchdown and caught 3-of-4 targets for 31 yards and a second touchdown in the 49ers' 27-23, Week 10 loss to the Giants on Monday night.

The 20 touches marked a new season-high for Breida. After having 11 days to rest his ailing ankle between games, this was as healthy as Breida has looked since Week 3 when he suffered a knee injury only to hurt his ankle in Week 5. Breida dominated the backfield work with Raheem Mostert (arm, I.R.) out of the picture, ceding nine ineffective carries to Alfred Morris. Breida was limping at times in this one but showed way more burst than we've seen from him over the last month or so. He'll now get the Niners' bye to get fully healthy before hosting the Bucs in Week 12.
Nov 12 - 11:36 PM

Odell Beckham caught 4-of-11 targets for 73 yards and two touchdowns in the Giants' 27-23, Week 10 win over the 49ers on Monday night.

It wasn't a very efficient night for Beckham, as he had a bad drop on the first play of the game, but OBJ was able to make his catches count. His first score came from 10 yards out as he was left wide open on the back line of the end zone, while his second was a 20-yard connection over the top of CB Ahkello Whitherspoon. Beckham has 100 yards and/or one touchdown in all but three games this season. He gets the Bucs at home in a mouthwatering Week 11 spot.
Nov 12 - 11:33 PM

Nick Mullens completed 27-of-39 passes for 250 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the 49ers' 27-23, Week 10 loss to the Giants.

Things didn't go nearly as swimmingly as they did for Mullens in his NFL debut last week against the Raiders. The league got some tape on him, and the Giants, unlike the Raiders, got some pressure, even though Mullens wasn't sacked. Both of Mullens' interceptions were on tipped balls by LB B.J. Goodson, so they weren't entirely the quarterback's fault. He still was able to move the ball with decent success, but Matt Breida on the ground was the star of the offense in this one. Mullens' score was an 11-yard hookup to Breida, who made a nice grab at the goal line. The Niners head on their bye week and will host the Bucs in Week 12. We'd guess it'll be Mullens again.
Nov 12 - 11:28 PM

Eli Manning completed 19-of-31 passes for 188 yards and three touchdowns in the Giants' 27-23, Week 10 win over the 49ers on Monday night.

The yards-per-attempt (6.1) is pretty hideous, but Manning got the job done with a big second half. He had 63 yards on 15 attempts before the break, but found Odell Beckham and Sterling Shepard for touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters after the Giants fell behind 20-10. Beckham caught two of Manning's three scores, totaling 4-73-2 on 11 targets. Shepard's three-yarder came with 53 second left to give the G-Men a 27-23 lead. The Giants will head back home to face the Bucs in Week 11. It's a prime matchup for Eli, but he's still nothing more than a mid-range QB2.
Nov 12 - 11:23 PM

Bills waived QB Nathan Peterman.

It comes the same day coach Sean McDermott said he was "still confident" in Peterman. The 171st pick in last year's draft, Peterman was dubbed a sleeper pick at the time but went on to be anything but competent in his brief time in Buffalo. The 24-year-old made eight appearances in 1.5 seasons with the Bills, starting four games, going 1-3 with a historically-bad 3:12 TD:INT mark, throwing an interception on 9.2% of his passes. It's pretty telling that longtime borderline NFLer Matt Barkley joined the Bills less than two weeks ago and immediately looked like a Hall of Famer compared to Peterman. We'd bet he eventually gets another shot and a much needed change of scenery. He'll never develop into a starter with long odds of becoming even a No. 2.
Nov 12 - 8:03 PM

Bucs signed K Cairo Santos.

He takes the job of Chandler Catanzaro, who was cut on Monday after missing a couple more kicks in the Week 10 loss. Santos had a cup of coffee with the Rams earlier this season, going 5-of-6 on extra points and 5-of-6 on field goals.
