Joe Mixon rushed 21 times for 84 yards in the Bengals' Week 2 win over the Ravens.

Mixon added a three-yard reception. Mixon spent chunks of the night looking Le'Veon Bell-esque with his slipperiness, patience and power, but he was dogged by knee issues, twice checking out. Thankfully, he returned both times. He looked no worse for the wear after coming back from a "questionable" tag in the fourth quarter. Even with the injury, Mixon has now hit the 22-touch mark in both 2018 appearances. He is solidifying himself as a legitimate RB1. He has 10 days to rest up for the Panthers in Week 3.

Sammy Watkins (foot) is active and will start Week 11 against the Rams on Monday night.

Watkins missed Week 10, returned to practice on Thursday, but then sat out Friday and Saturday. The Chiefs even promoted a receiver from the practice squad, as everything suggested Watkins wouldn't play. He's apparently good enough to go against his former team, which may have played a role in Watkins' active status. He's hard to trust, but this game total is 63.5 points.

Tre'Quan Smith (foot) was listed as a DNP in Monday's practice.

The Saints didn't actually practice and will do almost nothing this week, but they are forced to issue would-be practice reports based on estimations. Smith is coming off a breakout game with ten catches for 157 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets. His participation reports will be worth monitoring all week.

Chargers RE Joey Bosa played 31 snaps in his Week 11 season debut.

Coach Anthony Lynn said afterwards the plan was for Bosa to play 20 snaps, but he got rolling and they didn't pull him. PFF credited Bosa with one hit and one QB hurry, shaking off rust. Lynn expects Bosa to play more in Week 12 against the Cardinals. The Chargers need Bosa back at full tilt after losing DT Corey Liuget (quad) and MLB Denzel Perryman (hamstring) for the season.

Cowboys rookie WR Michael Gallup is away from the team after being informed his brother took his own life.

"We just found out after the ballgame that his brother had committed suicide, and just want to leave it at that," coach Jason Garrett said. "Obviously a very personal matter. We’re all behind Michael and supporting him and his family." No one should be surprised if Gallup misses Thursday's game against the Redskins while addressing more important situations in his and his family's life.

Speaking Monday, Raiders coach Jon Gruden compared Jalen Richard to Charlie Garner.

Gruden has been living in the past since the moment the Raiders guaranteed him $100 million over ten years, more notably comparing Amari Cooper to Sterling Sharpe and Tim Brown before trading him. "He might be the MVP of this team," Gruden said of Richard. "He could run for 1,000 yards and catch for 1,000 yards someday. He is tough, hard to tackle. And he can line up in the slot or outside." Richard is the favorite to lead Oakland's backfield in touches down the stretch.

Coach Jon Gruden admitted Monday that he's not concerned with Doug Martin's ankle injury.

"I think he'll be okay," said Gruden. Gruden later conceded the real reason Martin was benched at halftime was because he wants to get DeAndre Washington more touches going forward. The Raiders' backfield has devolved into a three-man committee with Martin, Washington, and Jalen Richard all sharing work.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that Jimmy Graham will "try to play" through his broken thumb in Week 12.

McCarthy wasn't entirely committal on Graham being able to do so, however, explaining that Green Bay's medical staff will work with "different splints and protections" to try to get Graham game ready. Losers in three of their last four, the Packers are in must-win position ahead of Sunday's date with Minnesota.

Raiders placed WR Brandon LaFell on injured reserve with a torn Achilles' tendon, ending his season.

Unfortunately, this is a career-threatening injury for the 33-year-old wideout. LaFell had strangely emerged as the Raiders' No. 1 wide receiver after the Amari Cooper trade. He is not under contract for the 2019 season.
Nov 19 - 4:13 PM

Marvin Jones (knee) was listed as a non-participant in Monday's practice.

The Lions didn't actually hold a practice, but they must issue a would-be injury report ahead of Thursday's bout with the Bears. Jones seems unlikely to play at this point. He remains "week to week" with a bone bruise on his knee.
Nov 19 - 4:10 PM

The Detroit Free Press confirms Kerryon Johnson (knee) is not expected to play on Thanksgiving.

The short week does Johnson no favors. Johnson is not expected to require surgery, but he is in danger of missing multiple games. The Lions will resort to some combination of LeGarrette Blount, Theo Riddick, and perhaps Zach Zenner in the backfield for Thursday's early game against the Bears.

The Tampa Bay Times reports the Bucs will go back to Jameis Winston as their starting quarterback for Week 12.

It's hardly a surprise after Ryan Fitzpatrick threw seven interceptions in 2.5 games in place of Winston. Winston is going to turn the ball over a ton, as well, but he does so in a slightly more dignified fashion than FitzMagic. In a pass-heavy offense locked into weekly shootouts by the Bucs' terrible defense, Winston will be a QB1 more weeks than not. That includes Week 12 against the 49ers.
