Ted Ginn (knee) didn't practice Wednesday.

We didn't see Ginn go down in Sunday's opener, but any knee issue is notable. The early missed practice is a concern for Ginn's Week 2 status. The Saints would be forced to activate healthy scratch Cameron Meredith or give more snaps to exciting rookie Tre'Quan Smith if Ginn can't play this week.

SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reports the "feeling around the Jets" is Todd Bowles' job isn't safe.

Bowles signed a two-year extension this offseason, but that was to avoid lame-duck status. There's chatter the Jets want to move on from Bowles after CEO Christopher Johnson didn't fully endorse him at a post-Week 1 press conference. The Jets are coming off an ugly loss to the Browns on Thursday night and have been one of the most penalized teams in the league. It's only three games into the season, but Bowles is going to be on the hot seat if he doesn't get things turned around.

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) says he'll "definitely" be ready for Week 4 against the Rams.

Cook is ruled out for this week, but the Vikings playing on Thursday night played a role in that decision. Minnesota has been conservative with Cook after last year's torn ACL, holding him out of all but one preseason game and monitoring his practice reps. Cook should return to the 74 percent of snaps he was averaging if he's cleared for Week 4.

LeSean McCoy (questionable, ribs) travelled with the team to Minnesota.

It puts him on track to play Sunday. McCoy practiced with a non-contact jersey this week, but this is a pain tolerance issue he should play through. At less than 100 percent with a matchup against the Vikings run defense, McCoy is an easy shy-away for Week 3.
Sep 22 - 2:31 PM

Steelers RG David DeCastro (broken hand) is out for Week 3 against the Buccaneers.

Coach Mike Tomlin gave DeCastro a chance to return earlier in the week but he won't be ready. B.J. Finney will continue to fill in. RT Marcus Gilbert (hamstring) additionally considers himself a game-time decision for Monday night. G Ramon Foster (knee) and CB Joe Haden (hamstring) were full participants in practice this week and should be ready to go against the Bucs.
Sep 22 - 12:46 PM

Colts added TE Erik Swoope from their practice squad.

The Colts will have Eric Ebron, Swoope, and Ryan Hewitt (primarily a blocking tight end) available Sunday with Jack Doyle (hip) out. Swoope’s 2017 campaign was derailed due to a nagging knee injury, but he finished top-five among all tight ends in yards per catch (19.8) when healthy the year prior. Sunday still sets up terrifically for Ebron, who should seamlessly replace Doyle in a full-time role. Doyle has quietly run the most routes (81) among all tight ends so far this year, giving Ebron a high floor (if only for his inevitable usage), as well.

DeVante Parker (finger) was not listed on the Week 3 injury report.

It means Parker is healthy enough to play, but according to the receiver, that was also the case when he was inactive last week. It remains to be seen if he will be active against the Raiders. He will not be a fantasy option even if he is.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Earl Thomas may not play in Week 3 against Dallas.

"We’ll see how he’s doing, make sure he’s okay. He’s got some other stuff going on," Carroll told reporters at Friday's media session. Thomas was held out of practice for personal reasons. This doesn't look to be trade related despite Seattle playing the Cowboys this week. We'll pass updates on Thomas when more is known on his status.

Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 3 against Chicago.

Fitzgerald got in two limited practices after sitting on Wednesday. He's expected to play but may not be 100 percent after missing the second half last week. With Sam Bradford struggling, Fitzgerald is a low-end WR2.
Sep 21 - 4:26 PM

Doug Baldwin (knee) is out for Week 3 against the Cowboys.

Baldwin hasn't played or practiced since injuring his knee in Week 1. Tyler Lockett and Brandon Marshall will be the featured receivers Sunday against Dallas.
Sep 21 - 4:16 PM

Josh Gordon (hamstring) is questionable for Week 3 against the Lions.

Gordon has been practicing on a limited basis this week and appears healthy enough to play, though he's only had a few days to learn the Patriots' offense. With New England playing in the Sunday night game, Gordon will be tough to employ in fantasy this week.
Sep 21 - 4:06 PM

Marquise Goodwin (quad) is questionable for Week 3 against the Chiefs.

Goodwin has at least a chance to play after getting in a limited week of practice, though coach Kyle Shanahan still considers him a game-time call. If Goodwin can't get the green light, it would open up targets for Pierre Garcon, George Kittle and to a lesser extent, Dante Pettis.
