Teddy Bridgewater completed 7-of-8 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown in Friday's preseason opener.

Bridgewater was the second quarterback in behind Josh McCown. He had a near-perfect debut, throwing just one incompletion in two series before giving way to Sam Darnold. Bridgewater doesn't have much of a chance to start for the Jets, but his trade value is trending up. The Jets should showcase Bridgewater more in their second preseason game.
Aug 10 - 8:39 PM

Robby Anderson vacuumed seven of his team-high 11 targets for 96 yards and one score in the Jets' Week 15 loss to the Texans.

As was the case last week, Sam Darnold again honed in on Anderson when pressured — which was often. The rookie scrambled for what seemed like an eternity on the Jets' final first-half possession, eventually looking up and sinking it into Anderson's basket from five-yards out for pay dirt. The burner again led the Jets in total air yards on Saturday (193), too. Having suddenly soaked up a team-high 29% target share since Darnold returned from injury two weeks ago, Anderson is firmly in play as a WR3/flex and DFS tournament option against the Packers in Week 16.
Dec 15 - 8:32 PM

Deshaun Watson completed 22-of-28 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns in the Texans' Week 15 comeback win over the Jets.

Watson's line is even more impressive when you account for the six sacks he took on constant pressure throughout the day, inevitably making him the first quarterback to get sacked 50 times this season. Even so, he tacked on 26 yards with his legs prior to engineering his fifth fourth-quarter/overtime game-winning drive this season. Without Keke Coutee (hamstring), both of Watson's touchdown throws went directly to (who else?) DeAndre Hopkins. In spit of low volume, Watson will be a top-five play against Philadelphia's swiss-cheese secondary in Week 16.
Dec 15 - 8:04 PM

Elijah McGuire handled 18 carries for 42 yards and one touchdown, adding three catches for 29 yards in the Jet's failed comeback attempt against the Texans in Week 15.

McGuire was strictly an RB2/flex in Week 15 due to projected volume, and he delivered by handling 21 of New York's 31 backfield touches (67.7%). Even though both backs split work in the Jets' passing game, McGuire notably out-carried Trenton Cannon 18-7 on the ground. With Isaiah Crowell (foot/toe, IR) done for the year, this is clearly McGuire's job to lose moving forward. He'll again be a volume-based RB2 against the Packers in Week 16.
Dec 15 - 8:01 PM

Sam Darnold completed 24-of-38 passes for 253 yards and two scores in the Jets' Week 15 loss to the Texans.

Despite having only tossed for 253 yards, Darnold was superb on Saturday, scrambling for his life on most plays only to find a receiver at the sticks once Houston's coverages broke down. His final fourth-down throw to Robby Anderson (7/96/1) would've kept the Jets' potential comeback-win alive had the receiver not dropped it. Although his fantasy potential is already ruined for this season, the franchise's future is clearly in good hands. Darnold will again be a low-end QB2 in deep/2-QB leagues against the Packers' secondary in Week 16.
Dec 15 - 7:49 PM

DeAndre Hopkins hauled in 10-of-11 targets for 170 yards and two touchdowns in the Texans' Week 15 victory over the Jets.

Hopkins continued soaring as Houston's primary receiving threat, creating separation from Darryl Roberts (who appeared lost on the play) for his first score of the afternoon. His second came on a dazzling catch that only he often makes seem rudimentary as Hopkins stretched to his far back shoulder for a 14-yard touchdown against Morris Claiborne's blanket coverage. In four games without Will Fuller (torn ACL, IR) and Keke Coutee (hamstring) since Week 9, Hopkins has seen target totals of 12, 12, 10, and 11. He finds himself in another eruption spot against the Eagles' Lincoln Logs-secondary in Week 16.
Dec 15 - 7:44 PM

Lamar Miller (ankle) is questionable to return for Week 15 against the Jets.

Miller had his ankle rolled up on following a first quarter carry. He had three carries for eight yards before leaving.
Dec 15 - 5:14 PM

Steelers activated WR Eli Rogers (knee) from the PUP list.

Rogers practiced with the first-team offense with Ryan Switer (ankle) limited this week. He'll add another option behind Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster and is an immediate threat to James Washington's playing time. The Steelers activating Rogers is a sign they don't expect to have Switzer against the Patriots.
Dec 15 - 3:59 PM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports James Conner (doubtful, ankle) isn't expected to play in Week 15 against the Patriots.

This is how Conner was trending after barely practicing this week. Conner got in some limited reps on Friday and is on track to return in Week 16. The Steelers will give Jaylen Samuels another start against the Patriots, with Stevan Ridley playing a short-yardage/red-zone role.
Dec 15 - 2:55 PM

Carson Wentz (back) is expected to be shut down for the season.

Wentz is facing a three-month timetable from a stress fracture in his back. The Eagles are holding off on placing him on IR, but he's unlikely to return this season. Wentz doesn't need surgery, so he'll be 100 percent for OTAs. Nick Foles will close out the year as the Eagles' starter.

Doug Baldwin (questionable, hip) expects to play in Week 15 against the 49ers.

Baldwin is on track to return after limited practices the last two days. His snaps may be scaled back at less than 100 percent and Baldwin is at risk of getting rested if Seattle pulls away early. Baldwin runs most of his routes in the slot, so he should avoid Richard Sherman's coverage.
Dec 14 - 7:30 PM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Keenan Allen is dealing with a hip pointer.

Allen's MRI confirmed he doesn't have structural damage. It's a week-to-week type injury, but with Los Angeles on a mini-bye, it's possible Allen doesn't miss any time. The Chargers have a pivotal matchup with Baltimore in Week 16.
