The Rams will play the Chiefs in a regular season game in Mexico City in 2018.

Commissioner Roger Goodell made the announcement at his Super Bowl press conference Wednesday. It will be counted as a Rams home game as they continue to wait for their new stadium to be built in Inglewood. The Raiders-Texans and Patriots-Raiders games in Mexico City the past two seasons were smashing hits. The game is usually good for both offenses, with Mexico City at a higher altitude than Denver, therefore gassing defensive players by the second half.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Sam Darnold (foot) "has a shot" to be back next week.

Darnold will be two weeks removed from his foot injury after the Jets' bye. The Jets never gave a timetable on Darnold, but it's looking like he may end up missing just one game. We should have a better feel for Darnold's status when the Jets return to practice Wednesday.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Robert Griffin III is expected to see snaps against the Bengals in Week 11.

Per Rapoport, the Ravens have "messed around" with using Griffin III in two-quarterback formations just as they have with Lamar Jackson throughout the year. Of course this week Jackson is starting in place of Joe Flacco, who is out with an injured hip. The plan is for RG3 to only see a handful of reps, though the Ravens could turn to him in a pinch if Jackson falters in what equates to a must-win game for Baltimore. It's worth noting that Jackson didn't see his usual practice reps this week after spending Thursday in the hospital with an illness.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Todd Bowles has an "uphill battle" to keep his job after this season.

Bowles won't be fired during the year, but the Jets have "serious questions" that he'll be back. It's hard to see Bowles returning after what's going to be three straight losing seasons. Sam Darnold has regressed under Bowles and the Jets defense is among the worst in the league. Jets GM Mike Maccagnan is "believed to be much safer" than Bowles, though ownership may look to clean house in the offseason.

Packers DL Mike Daniels (foot) is expected to be sidelined a "few weeks."

Daniels met with foot-specialist Dr. Robert Anderson last week. He's going to miss some time after going down in Thursday's game. Losing Daniels is a huge hit to an undermanned Packers defensive line. Montravius Adams will pick up Daniels' snaps.

Eagles RT Lane Johnson (questionable, knee) is expected to play Week 11 against the Saints.

This will be his first game action since Week 8 when he suffered a sprained MCL in a win over Jacksonville. Johnson has been a stud when healthy this year, earning PFF's No. 10 grade among tackles. His return pushes Halapoulivaati Vaitai back to the bench.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Rob Gronkowski (back) is expected to return for Week 12 against the Jets.

Gronkowski has missed New England's last two games with back and ankle injuries but had the bye to heal up. The injury-prone 29-year-old has disappointed this year, going six straight games without either a touchdown or 100 yards receiving. Gronk will always be at risk of an in-game setback, though obviously the future Hall of Famer remains a must-start in all formats.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Joe Flacco (hip) doesn't need surgery.

Flacco is out Sunday, but this isn't a season-ending injury. He's expected to missed 1-2 weeks, potentially returning for Week 12 against Oakland. Flacco isn't a lock to get his starting job back when healthy if Baltimore is out of playoff contention. The Ravens have a window to get out of Flacco's contract this offseason.

Chris Godwin (questionable, ankle) is expected to play in Week 11 against the Giants.

Godwin created some concern after missing two practices early in the week, but he got in a full session Friday. It's possible the Bucs cut back his snaps at less than 100 percent, giving Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson and Adam Humphries all higher floors. Godwin is a risky FLEX.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports A.J. Green (doubtful, toe) made the trip to Baltimore and will work out on the field prior to Week 11 against the Ravens.

Green still seems unlikely to play, though the fact that he hasn't officially been ruled out and did indeed travel to Baltimore with the team is an interesting wrinkle. In the off-chance that Green does suit up, he could be limited or used as a decoy coming off a painful toe injury. If he sits, which remains the most likely outcome, it will open up targets for Tyler Boyd, John Ross and C.J. Uzomah, among others.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Lamar Jackson is expected to start Week 11 against the Bengals.

There was some thought the Ravens would turn to Robert Griffin III with Joe Flacco (hip) out, but Schefter called Jackson the "expected starting QB." The rookie could not have a better matchup for his career debut. The Bengals are banged up on the defensive side of the ball, and they were having trouble stopping opposing quarterbacks even when they were healthy. Jackson carries risk in his first start, but he also has high-end QB1 upside.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Chargers DE Joey Bosa (foot) is expected to play Week 11 against the Broncos.

"I’d be shocked if he doesn’t," a source told Schefter. Bosa has been sidelined since injuring his foot in early August, so he is highly unlikely to get a full complement of snaps, and that could remain the case over the next several weeks as the Chargers try to get their star pass rusher ready for a playoff run. Even so, Bosa's return is a big boost for a defense which is already trending up.
