Titans hired ex-Ravens DC Dean Pees as defensive coordinator.

Pees retired as the Ravens' defensive coordinator right after the season but was convinced to join the Titans by new coach Mike Vrabel. Pees led the Ravens defense to top 12 finishes in total defense and scoring defense in five of his six years in charge. He's a really good get for Vrabel and should continue to use the 3-4 base look that ex-DC Dick LeBeau featured. The likely draw for Pees in Tennessee was the permission to hire his son, a high school coach, to his staff. Now that Vrabel has his DC, the Titans more importantly need an OC.

Delanie Walker (ankle, injured reserve) is holding out hope he can return during the playoffs if the Titans make it.

"In the back of my mind, if I can get healthy earlier where I can come back and play, I’m going to do that," Walker said. "But right now, I’m just worried about taking it day by day just to get healthy and be able to come back next year. But if I can play this year, I will." Walker's fantasy season is over, and it sounds like returning in the playoffs is a bit of a pipe dream considering he just recently began walking with crutches. That said, Walker would be a big boost to an ascending offense if he is able to make it back.

Jimmy Graham (knee) was removed from the Week 11 injury report.

He's good to go for Thursday night against his former Seahawks teammates. Graham has experienced sharp valleys and peaks this season but remains an every-week TE1 due to upside and Aaron Rodgers under center.
Nov 14 - 6:13 PM

Adam Thielen (back, calf) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Thielen seemed healthy before the bye week but apparently he's now dealing with calf and lower-back injuries. Regardless, the fifth-year stud should be fine for Sunday night's game in Chicago. Thielen needs just 53 more yards to lock up his second-straight 1,000-yard receiving season.
Nov 14 - 5:21 PM

Updating an earlier report, Stefon Diggs (ribs) is practicing in full for Week 11 against the Bears.

This confirms Diggs will be back for Sunday's divisional showdown at Soldier Field. Diggs was absent for Week 9 but had last week's bye to rest his injured ribs. Even against an underrated Bears secondary, the 24-year-old should be started in all formats.
Nov 14 - 5:19 PM

Marvin Jones (knee) didn't practice on Wednesday.

It's not an encouraging sign for Jones, who sat out the final quarter of Sunday's loss to Chicago due to a bone bruise on his right knee. With Detroit's annual Thanksgiving game coming up next week, the Lions may err on the side of caution by resting Jones in Week 11. If the Lions pursue that course of action, Kenny Golladay would be in for a gigantic workload against the Panthers.
Nov 14 - 4:45 PM

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Coutee was also limited before being held out of Week 9. He expects to return coming of Houston's bye, but his status can't be taken for granted. Even if he plays, Coutee is likely going to be behind Demaryius Thomas for targets.
Nov 14 - 4:36 PM

Lions placed RG T.J. Lang (neck) on injured reserve.

The Lions promoted CB Mike Ford from the practice squad in the corresponding roster move. It's been an injury-plagued year for Lang, who has dealt with back and neck injuries as well as a concussion. Kenny Wiggins will play out the stretch at right guard for Detroit. Assuming the Lions bring him back in 2019, Lang will earn $8.25 million in the final year of his contract.
Nov 14 - 4:33 PM

Chris Carson (hip) was removed from the Week 11 injury report.

This was expected after Carson practiced fully. Carson will start, but there's some concern over his workload coming off injury on a short week. He's a high-upside RB2/FLEX against a Packers defense that allows 121 rush yards per game.
Nov 14 - 4:13 PM

Updating an earlier report, James Conner (concussion) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.

It's unclear if Conner ever actually suffered a concussion, though it's a moot point now as the second-year stud is on track to play Sunday at Jacksonville. With Le'Veon Bell done in Pittsburgh, Conner should be an RB1 the rest of the way.
Nov 14 - 4:10 PM

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said he hopes to have A.J. Green (toe) for Sunday's game with Baltimore.

This may just be coachspeak from Lewis. Green didn't practice Wednesday after sitting out last week. Most reports have him missing at least one more game. It's a longshot Green returns Sunday, but with their playoff chances dwindling, it's possible the Bengals could push Green at less than 100 percent.
Nov 14 - 3:19 PM

Joey Bosa (foot) has been cleared to practice.

He practiced on a limited basis Wednesday. It's the first time Bosa has done anything since training camp. Bosa avoided surgery but has been slow to recover from an early August foot injury. There's a chance he returns for Week 11 against Denver.
