Bengals hired Teryl Austin as defensive coordinator.

Austin was a hot name on the coordinating circuit, drawing strong interest from the Raiders and getting connected to the Packers as well. Although Austin's defenses in Detroit were far from dominant, he maximized the Lions' talent and is one of the league's most respected defensive minds. With DE Carl Lawson, WLB Vontaze Burfict, LE Carlos Dunlap, and CB William Jackson in place, Austin inherits a talented Bengals defense that faded down the 2017 stretch due to injuries.

Julian Edelman (heel) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

It's the first time Edelman has appeared on the injury report since returning from suspension. We didn't see Edelman get injured in Sunday night's Week 6 win over Kansas City. There should be more clarity on his status Thursday.
Oct 17 - 6:23 PM

George Kittle (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Kittle was legitimately questionable for Monday's game in Green Bay, but he played and didn't show any ill effects, seeing the field on 53 of the Niners' 57 offensive snaps. Among tight ends only Zach Ertz and Travis Kelce have gone for more yards than Kittle this year. The second-year Iowa product will be safe to employ as a TE1 Sunday when the 49ers host the undefeated Rams.
Oct 17 - 5:57 PM

Bears OLB Khalil Mack (ankle) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Mack injured his right ankle in Sunday's loss to Miami. He didn't look like himself in that game and could be hobbled again in Week 7. That would come as great news for Tom Brady, who isn't exactly the fleetest of foot when forced outside the pocket.
Oct 17 - 5:49 PM

Sean Lee (hamstring) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday.

It's the first time he's practiced since injuring his hamstring in Week 3. The Cowboys may opt to sit Lee with a bye coming up in Week 8, but the veteran linebacker is getting close.
Oct 17 - 5:33 PM

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) is practicing in full for Week 7 against the Jets.

Cook was a surprise inactive last week but appears to be on track for Sunday's game in East Rutherford. With Cook's hamstring giving him problems—he's already had one setback—it's hard for fantasy owners to start him with any kind of confidence. Latavius Murray fared well in Cook's absence last week (24 carries for 155 yards and a touchdown), though he's also been inconsistent. Only four teams have averaged fewer rushing yards per game than Minnesota this year.
Oct 17 - 5:27 PM

Carson Wentz (back) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Wentz is working through a back injury, though it shouldn't prevent him from playing Sunday when the Eagles host Carolina. Coming off ACL surgery in 2017, the third-year signal-caller has played well this season, topping 300 yards passing in two of his last three games. He's worth firing up as a QB1 in Week 7.
Oct 17 - 5:13 PM

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (concussion) is practicing in full for Week 7 against the Ravens.

Lattimore exited with a concussion in Week 5 but had the bye week to heal. He should be ready for Sunday's game in Baltimore. The reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year will likely be tasked with covering Ravens deep threat John Brown in Week 7.
Oct 17 - 4:54 PM

Jets coach Todd Bowles confirmed Quincy Enunwa (ankle) is out for Week 7 against the Vikings.

This was expected after Enunwa suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's win over Indianapolis. Enunwa has been Sam Darnold's go-to target for much of the year, so this is a significant loss for the Jets. Expect Jermaine Kearse, Terrelle Pryor and Robby Anderson to all see increased workloads with Enunwa shelved in Week 7.
Oct 17 - 4:34 PM

Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed Cooper Kupp (knee) is out for Week 7 against the 49ers.

Kupp's knee injury looked much worse than it was, though he's still dealing with an MCL sprain, which is usually a multi-week injury. The second-year slot man has played well this season but the Rams still have plenty of receiving weapons including Todd Gurley, Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks. Consider Kupp week to week.
Oct 17 - 4:29 PM

T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) is practicing in full for Week 7 against the Bills.

Hilton appears to be over the hamstring injury that has sidelined him the past two weeks. His return is great news for Andrew Luck, who has dealt with a depleted receiving corps the past two weeks. Hilton gets a tough matchup against Bills corner Tre'Davious White in his first game back, but he's still worthy of WR2 consideration.
Oct 17 - 4:06 PM

Isaiah Crowell (foot) did not practice Wednesday.

Crowell was listed with an ankle injury last week, so this could be a new issue for the running back. Crowell played through whatever he was dealing with against the Colts, and we initially expect him to do the same this week.
