Eagles signed WR Marquess Wilson to a reserve/future contract.

The buzzed-about 2013 seventh-rounder spent 2017 on the street after making just three appearances in an injury-wrecked 2016. Still only 25, Wilson will try to get his career on track in one of the league's top offenses this offseason.

The Palm Beach Post's Joe Schad reports DeVante Parker is out with a broken finger.

Schad reports the team is "hopeful" he will be ready for Week 1, but coach Adam Gase would not go that far in his press conference. This is a big blow for a player who was reportedly struggling in camp prior to the injury. With Parker and Kenny Stills (ankle) both sidelined, Albert Wilson should get every opportunity to climb the depth chart.

Dolphins rookie RB Kalen Ballage is in the concussion protocol.

This is his first concussion in the NFL. Ballage was having a rough go even before the injury, committing a fumble in the preseason opener and getting kicked out of the huddle by Ryan Tannehill in practice, and now he will miss at least one preseason game. Ballage will likely spend his rookie season behind Kenyan Drake and Frank Gore on the depth chart.

Saquon Barkley (hamstring) is working to the side of Tuesday's practice.

Barkley suffered a "mild strain" late in Monday's practice. He got in some work during individual drills, but he was off to the side with trainers during Tuesday's session. Coach Pat Shurmur promised to be "smart" with their star running back, and it looks like what is happening. There is no reason to worry about his Week 1 availability.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said John Brown "has been better than we expected."

Brown has earned daily praise for his work to this point in camp, and Joe Flacco credited the receiver for his renewed success throwing down the field. Health will remain a question for Brown, but it has become clear he will be a fantasy factor if he can stay on the field. He is a great late-round flier.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette's Ryan Wood writes Geronimo Allison "has quietly established himself as the team’s No. 3 receiver."

"He is always in the right place," Wood continues, "and his combination of size (6-3) and sure hands make him a reliable target." With Randall Cobb out, Allison worked as the No. 2 in the preseason opener, well ahead of the trio of rookies seemingly drafted to replace him. In good shape to win the No. 3 job in an Aaron Rodgers offense, Allison is worth drafting in deeper formats.

Seahawks coach Pete Carrol said "it’s still a bit" before Ed Dickson (groin, active/NFI) is able to return.

Signed to replace Jimmy Graham, Dickson has yet to practice in camp because of what was originally called a "minor" groin injury. When recently asked about his recovery, the usually optimistic Carroll said, "It’s not happening." With Dickson's health in question, Nick Vannett has a shot to earn the starting job.

The Miami Herald reports there is "legit interest" between the Dolphins and free agent CB Bashaud Breeland.

Breeland has seemingly visited every NFL team over the last month, and most of those visits have ended with reports of "legit interest." It has become clear Breeland is not getting the offers he thinks he deserves. Until a team gets desperate or Breeland lowers his valuation, he will remain in the free-agent pool.

Seahawks OC Brian Schottenheimer said Brandon Marshall has looked "really good."

"There’s some timing stuff still. He and Russ (Wilson) are working through it," Schottenheimer admitted. "They’re talking all the time, but yes. Very encouraged." With Doug Baldwin out, Marshall got the start in the first preseason game alongside Tyler Lockett and Jaron Brown. With Baldwin's health in question, someone in that trio could earn a shocking target share this season.

Eric Decker has struggled with drops since joining the Patriots.

Decker reportedly dropped the first pass Tom Brady threw him last week, dropped two more on Sunday, and committed three drops on Monday. "It’s part of the game. We’re all human," Decker said. "I’ve played a lot of football. I’ve had a few drops in my day. I have many catches as well. I know how to bounce back and get to it." Decker did bounce back to finish Monday's session strong, but he is clearly experiencing some growing pains. Unfortunately, he does not have very long to work out the kinks.

Tom Brady (back) said he "absolutely" expects to play in the second preseason game.

Brady was held out of the preseason opener with a sore back, but the quarterback says he is fine. "I am doing really well," Brady said. "You just always have little things that you’re working through. That is part of football season, but I feel really good." If he suits up on Thursday night, Brady will not see more than a handful of snaps.

Walk-year RB David Johnson said he is "encouraged" by ongoing contract discussions.

Despite an optimistic tone, Johnson seems to be more encouraged the talks are happening than by the content of the discussions. "I was hoping my production from my second year and what I did my first year would help out," Johnson said, "but the NFL is what have you done for me lately, so hopefully I can prove it once the season starts." Their only young and established weapon on offense, the Cardinals need to get Johnson under contract.
