Packers released DL Letroy Guion.

Guion was a 15-game starter last season, but got slapped with a steroid ban in March and was arrested for drunk driving in June. Guion was arrested on drug and weapons charges in 2015. The Packers had apparently had enough. Now on the wrong side of 30, Guion was going to be a role player this season.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Royce Freeman's injury is a high-ankle sprain.

He'll undergo an MRI. High-ankle sprains are considered more serious and often result in multi-week absences, though Matt Breida was able to play through a similar injury last week. Per Rapsheet, the Broncos have "some optimism" regarding Freeman's injury and believe he may not miss any time. The Broncos have nine days off before their next game against Kansas City.

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Jets.

This was expected after Cook was held out of Thursday's practice. Cook's had multiple setbacks with his hamstring injury, so he's not a lock to be back next week. Latavius Murray will make another start in Cook's place.
Oct 19 - 1:39 PM

Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is out for Week 7 against the Texans.

Fournette has been getting some side work in at practice but he's still not close to returning. T.J. Yeldon will draw another start Sunday against Houston. The Jaguars play the Eagles in London next week before going on bye.
Oct 19 - 1:33 PM

Colts coach Frank Reich is "optimistic" T.Y. Hilton (questionable, hamstring) will play in Week 7 against Buffalo.

Hilton had a mid-week downgrade but remains on track to return after missing the last two games. It's an upgrade for Andrew Luck and a Colts offense that's been getting by with a weak supporting cast. Coming off injury, Hilton is a Week 7 fade in a shy-away matchup with Tre'Davious White.
Oct 19 - 1:26 PM

Terrelle Pryor (groin) is doubtful for Week 7 against the Vikings.

The Jets will be minus Pryor and Quincy Enunwa (ankle) in this one and will turn to Jermaine Kearse, Robby Anderson, Chris Herndon, and Bilal Powell as the catalysts through the pass game. Kearse has some WR3 appeal.
Oct 19 - 12:55 PM

Isaiah Crowell (foot) is questionable for Week 7 against the Vikings.

Crowell was unable to practice Wednesday and Thursday, but followed essentially the same routine last week before eventually playing against the Colts. Even if he does play, Crowell is a tough RB3 sell in a difficult matchup.
Oct 19 - 12:52 PM

T.J. Yeldon (foot, ankle) was removed from the Week 7 injury report and will play against the Texans.

With Leonard Fournette (hamstring) still out, Yeldon will be a volume-based RB2.
Oct 19 - 12:47 PM

Jaguars TE James O'Shaughnessy (hip) is out Week 7 against the Texans.

The Jaguars have been totally gutted at tight end and are now without their top three players at the position. "David Grinnage" and Blake Bell will be the Jaguars' tight ends against Houston. Neither is on the fantasy radar.

Josh Rosen injured his toe late in Thursday night's loss to the Broncos and is in a walking boot.

Rosen is also headed for an MRI. The injury occurred on the Cardinals' final offensive play as Rosen was getting sacked. His toe appeared to get stuck in the turf a bit. Afterwards, Rosen said he was "fine" and admitted he was being "soft." Once the doctor takes a look, we should know more.
Oct 19 - 12:21 PM

Cardinals promoted QBs coach Byron Leftwich to offensive coordinator.

It's been a fast rise for Leftwich, who was last a player in 2012. He began his coaching career under ex-Cardinals coach Bruce Arians and was a holdover for new coach Steve Wilks. With OC Mike McCoy getting fired after Thursday night's Week 7 loss to the Broncos, Leftwich now gets his time to put his mark on the offense. First order of business should be getting David Johnson the ball in space. Leftwich played and learned under the aggressive Arians. It's a no-risk move.
Oct 19 - 11:23 AM

Cardinals fired OC Mike McCoy.

The Cardinals had to make this move. Once viewed as an up-and-coming offensive mind after his work in Denver with Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow, McCoy got a head-coaching gig in San Diego, lasting four years there before then going back to Denver last year as their OC. He was fired mid-season, and has now been canned the second-straight year in the middle of the year. McCoy has about run his course as a play-caller. QBs coach Byron Leftwich is Arizona's new OC.
