Bobby Portis (elbow) will not play on Saturday night against the Jazz.

He said his right elbow didn't feel right in warmups, but he did want to give it a try today. However, the Bulls will play it safe here. With him out, Robin Lopez, Wendell Carter Jr., and maybe Jabari Parker could get more run.
Jan 12 - 9:09 PM

Gary Harris (left hamstring tightness) will not play on Tuesday vs. the Warriors.

He did go through warmups and was a game-time call, so his return should be right around the corner. As long as Harris remains out, Monte Morris and Malik Beasley will have low-end streaming appeal on game nights that aren't as busy.
Jan 15 - 8:08 PM

Ricky Rubio (hamstring) will miss at least another week of action.

He was re-evaluated on Tuesday, but the Jazz didn't offer any details about his progress. He will be re-evaluated in another week, and hopefully we'll get a target date the next time around. Dante Exum (ankle) is out for another couple weeks and Raul Neto (groin) will miss at least another week, so the Jazz will continue to rely on their multi-wing lineups with Donovan Mitchell and Joe Ingles running the offense.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will replace Josh Hart in the starting lineup on Tuesday vs. the Bulls.

So there will be two changes for the Lakers tonight with Tyson Chandler replacing JaVale McGee at center. KCP and Hart have both been hit-or-miss, so fantasy owners are better off waiting for one of them to separate themselves.
Jan 15 - 7:51 PM

Tyson Chandler is expected to start in place of JaVale McGee on Tuesday vs. the Bulls.

McGee's production has fallen off since his hot start to the season, but Tyson Chandler? It's a strange decision from coach Luke Walton, but he's just grasping at straws with the Lakers coming off a loss to the Cavaliers. Chandler is not an add in fantasy leagues and McGee's owners should sit tight while we see how this plays out.
Jan 15 - 7:46 PM

Myles Turner (shoulder) will return to the starting lineup on Tuesday vs. the Suns, sending Domantas Sabonis back to the second unit.

Turner is back from a four-game absence, and he'll be joined in the starting unit by Darren Collison, Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic and Thaddeus Young. With Turner back in action, Kyle O'Quinn could be headed for a DNP-CD.
Jan 15 - 6:46 PM

Jeff Teague (left ankle) will play on Tuesday against the 76ers.

He was randomly labeled a game-time call this morning, but he never actually hit the injury report and was a full participant at Monday's practice, so he shouldn't have any limitations tonight. Joining him in the starting five will be Josh Okogie, Andrew Wiggins, Taj Gibson and Karl-Anthony Towns. Go ahead and get him active.
Jan 15 - 6:32 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo (hip, quad) will play on Tuesday against the Heat, as expected.

There was never any doubt about Antetokounmpo's status for tonight's game, but now we have official confirmation. He's safe to fire up in all settings for a favorable matchup with Miami.
Jan 15 - 6:29 PM

Derrick Rose (right ankle) will be available to play on Tuesday against the 76ers.

Rose said he was feeling good this morning after shootaround and that he expected to get out there, and now we have official confirmation. Jeff Teague (ankle) isn't even on the injury report, so he should be good to go too, which means Tyus Jones should be faded in daily leagues.
Jan 15 - 6:19 PM

Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) and Jeremy Lin (illness) have been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Thunder.

Omari Spellman will get another start tonight, although with a tough matchup against OKC, it's tough to view him as much more than a punt play in DFS. Alex Len will also be more involved in the rotation sans Dedmon. Lin's absence should result in more minutes for Trae Young and Tyler Dorsey. After tonight's game, the Hawks won't play again until Saturday, and Lloyd Pierce is hopeful that Dedmon will be able to make it back for that one.
Jan 15 - 5:53 PM

Taurean Prince (illness) will be on a 15-minute limit for Tuesday's game against the Thunder.

He's a bit under the weather, so that could further limit him, and 15 minutes isn't really enough floor time for him to make much of an impact in fantasy hoops. He's not necessarily worth activating in roto settings, but you might as well plug him into your active roster in head-to-head formats.
Jan 15 - 5:49 PM

John Collins (ankle) and Taurean Prince (illness) will be available to play on Tuesday against the Thunder.

Collins suffered a minor ankle tweak on Sunday, but it won't be enough to keep him on the sidelines tonight, which was to be expected with him being listed as probable. Prince should see a slight uptick in minutes in his second game back, but he probably won't be on the floor enough to make for a viable DFS target.
