Paul George filled it up against the Rockets during a 98-80 win on Thursday, scoring 20 points with 11 rebounds, six assists, two turnovers, three 3-pointers and a season-high six steals.

The steals numbers have been the story with George now leading the NBA with 2.8 per game. November has been a steal fest, averaging 3.6 steals with 17.8 points, 7.6 boards, 5.2 dimes, 0.6 blocks and 2.4 treys. He's still not even hitting his shots and he's turning top-15 value on the season, so he is a good bet to be a top-10 player this season.

Andre Drummond hit a layup to send Wednesday's game into overtime, finishing an eventual 120-115 win with 14 points, 22 rebounds, one assist and one block.

Drummond was 7-of-15 from the field but he didn't get to the free-throw line, which is a plus for fantasy owners. He also grabbed 11 of his boards on the offensive end, a bonus for owners with more unique league settings, and leads the league in that category -- the next-closest players are Clint Capela, Steven Adams, Tristan Thompson and Enes Kanter. He's been fantastic in all the right areas for owners.

Blake Griffin led the Pistons to a home win on Wednesday with 30 points, five assists, four rebounds and two blocks, making 11-of-18 FGs and 7-of-10 FTs.

Asked before the game about his team's postseason chances, Pistons coach Dwane Casey said, "We’re serious about being a playoff team ... [Wednesday] we’re looking at a team we’re in a dogfight with. How we come out tonight will determine a lot about who we are." His team proceeded to win an overtime game, led by key performances from Blake, Andre Drummond and the second unit, which bodes well for the team's veterans. Just keep an eye on the standings.
Jan 16 - 10:15 PM

Nikola Vucevic had 24 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, two 3-pointers and one steal in a losing effort on Wednesday, shooting 11-of-22 from the field vs. Detroit.

Magic coach Steve Clifford said before the game that whether his team becomes 'buyers' or 'sellers' before the trade deadline "will depend on how we play." Fantasy owners relying on guys like Vucevic should be rooting for more victories to keep Orlando in the "buyers" camp, which would lead to more playing time and fewer DNPs for the team's productive veterans. Aaron Gordon (12 points, eight rebounds) is also in that category, but Vuc and D.J. Augustin (13 points, seven assists in 32 minutes) might be the players most vulnerable to late-season tanking.
Jan 16 - 10:08 PM

Damian Lillard (right hand) is available to play against the Cavs on Wednesday.

He was questionable to play for this game, but not surprisingly Dame will be suiting up for this one. He plays through most injuries, and we'll see if this issue affects his shooting. He should be in all lineups and could go off against one of the worst defenses in the league.
Jan 16 - 9:16 PM

Rudy Gay (wrist) will start on Wednesday against the Mavs.

He's back after 10 days on the sidelines from a nagging wrist injury. It looked like Gay was able to play through his wrist injury back on Jan. 5, so the Spurs may have been cautious. His return means fewer minutes for Marco Belinelli, Patty Mills, Davis Bertans and Jakob Poeltl. Gay should be owned in all leagues.
Jan 16 - 7:19 PM

Wendell Carter Jr. (left thumb, left knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Nuggets.

MRIs came back negative on Carter Jr.'s thumb and knee, and while he'll miss Thursday's game, he'll be re-evaluated on Friday and will be listed as day-to-day moving forward. It wouldn't be shocking to see him spend at least a few games on the sidelines, and while he's out we could see Bobby Portis move into the starting lineup, with more minutes falling to Robin Lopez, Cristiano Felicio and Jabari Parker.
Jan 16 - 7:11 PM

Dennis Smith Jr. (illness) is out Wednesday against the Spurs.

He is not going to be at the arena for this game after a report came out that he was out at lunch earlier today. Coach Rick Carlisle declined to comment about the trade rumors or if he talked to DSJ, as well. Multiple reports have said that the Magic are the most interested team in DSJ, so that could be a great landing spot for him. Reports also say he's likely to be dealt, but nothing is imminent. Jalen Brunson and Maxi Kleber will benefit with more playing time with Kleber having more value as a pickup. Brunson is only worth a look in deeper leagues.
Jan 16 - 7:00 PM

Justin Holiday will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.

Holiday hasn't done much since landing in Memphis, but with Kyle Anderson (ankle) out for the next few weeks, there's a decent amount of opportunity in front of him. He could be someone to think about streaming in deep leagues tonight, although it's worth noting that the Bucks tend to be a tough matchup.
Jan 16 - 6:36 PM

James Harden, Eric Gordon, Austin Rivers, P.J. Tucker and Gary Clark will get the start against the Nets on Wednesday.

On Monday, the Rockets had used five centers in the first 14 minutes against the Grizzlies, and they ditched a traditional center for most of the second half even against Marc Gasol. Clearly, the Rockets do not trust Nene, Isaiah Hartenstein and Marquese Chriss to log decent minutes, so Clark looks like the winner here. He's only worth a look in deep leagues.
Jan 16 - 6:28 PM

Eric Gordon (knee) is back in the starting lineup against the Nets on Wednesday.

He's missed the last eight games due to a knee contusion to his bad knee that gave him problems in New Orleans. The Rockets desperately need him to play minutes, so he could hit the ground running in his return today. He's worth an add in standard leagues until Chris Paul (hamstring) returns.
Jan 16 - 6:25 PM

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) and Shabazz Napier (hamstring) will be available to play on Wednesday against the Rockets.

This will be RHJ's first game in January following a seven-game absence, and it'll be interesting to see what his minutes look like tonight with Jared Dudley (hamstring) unavailable. Hollis-Jefferson hasn't been great this season, so this is more of a wait-and-see situation in standard settings. With both Napier and RHJ available, Treveon Graham's minutes will take a sizeable hit.
