Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has been diagnosed with a left adductor strain.

Adductor strains typically impact the hip and thigh, and we should have more specifics soon -- RHJ injured himself during a recent exhibition game in China. He will begin rehab "immediately" and the Nets haven't provided a timetable for his return. They'll take every precaution with him, but for now we'll tentatively expect him to be ready for training camp.
Aug 8 - 8:38 PM

Fred VanVleet (back) is a go for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

VanVleet will be returning from a one-game absence, and he could be getting the start with Kyle Lowry (thigh) unavailable, which would shift Delon Wright back to the second unit. He's on the radar in DFS, although it's not the best matchup for him.
Dec 19 - 11:35 AM

Pascal Siakam (back) will play on Wednesday against the Pacers.

He'll be returning from a one-game absence, and could be forced into heavy minutes tonight with Serge Ibaka (knee) and Jonas Valanciunas (thumb) unavailable, making him an attractive DFS target. C.J. Miles figures to return to the bench with Siakam back on the active roster.
Dec 19 - 11:32 AM

Nikola Vucevic (personal) will not suit up for Wednesday's game against the Spurs.

Vucevic welcomed a new addition to his family on Monday with the birth of his first child, so he'll be sitting out tonight's game and should be considered questionable for Friday's matchup in Chicago. Mo Bamba figures to draw the start tonight, and there will be more minutes available for Khem Birch in the second unit, but Bamba is the guy you want to target.
Dec 19 - 11:26 AM

Danny Green (eye) said he will play on Wednesday against the Pacers.

Green has a cut on his right eye after getting poked in the eye during Sunday's game, so he may bust out the goggles tonight. Nick Nurse also confirmed that Green would be out there, so owners can feel confident plugging him into their lineups tonight.
Dec 19 - 11:17 AM

Kyle Lowry (thigh) and Serge Ibaka (knee) have been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

This will be the second consecutive game out of the lineup for Lowry, and with Fred VanVleet (back) probable, he'll likely be drawing the start and there will be more minutes for Delon Wright in the second unit. Greg Monroe could get the start with Ibaka unavailable, which puts him on the DFS radar. The Raptors have a Friday-Saturday back-to-back set coming up, so for now, we'll consider Ibaka and Lowry questionable for those two games.
Dec 19 - 11:09 AM

Jamal Murray hit 10-of-18 shots and a 3-pointer on his way to 22 points, seven rebounds, a career-high 15 assists, a steal, a block and five turnovers in Tuesday's 126-118 win over the Mavericks.

We're not sure what got into Murray tonight with the dimes, but this was just the second time in his three-year career he's had at least 10 assists in a game, with the first one coming in his rookie year in the second-to-last game of the 2016-17 season. This was just his second points/assists double-double of his career, and maybe this game will spark him to go on an assists run. He hadn't had more than five of them in his previous five games, and this will go down as his best game of the young season. Murray's strong play has helped the Nuggets to a 21-9 record, good for the best record in the West.
Dec 19 - 12:05 AM

Nikola Jokic had his way with DeAndre Jordan on Tuesday, hitting 13-of-25 shots, two 3-pointers and 4-of-4 free throws for 32 points, 16 rebounds, four assists, three steals, a block and five turnovers in 35 minutes of the 126-118 win.

He didn't hit a single season high with tonight's stellar line, which should tell you what kind of season he's having for the Nuggets. And speaking of the Nuggets, they tied the franchise record for their best start to a season at 21-9 and have never sat alone in first place in the West this deep into a season. And Jokic is a big reason why the Nuggets (and his owner's fantasy teams) are doing so well this season. The Warriors are right behind the first-place Nuggets at 21-10, while the East's Raptors have the best record in the league at 23-9.
Dec 18 - 11:57 PM

Harrison Barnes hit 10-of-16 shots, 5-of-8 3-pointers and 5-of-6 free throws for 30 points, four rebounds, a steal, a block and zero turnovers in 34 minutes of Tuesday's loss to the Nuggets.

That's an extremely efficient night for Harry B, who matched his season high of 30 points, which he also had against the Clippers on December 2. Barnes has scored in double digits in every game since October 29 and is averaging more than three 3-pointers per game in December. He's not rebounding the ball as well as he has in the past, grabbing five or fewer in each of his last eight games, and he hasn't been shooting it very well, but may have kicked off the start of a hot streak with tonight's line.
Dec 18 - 11:36 PM

John Collins hit 7-of-14 shots, a 3-pointer and 5-of-6 3-pointers for 20 points, 13 rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Wizards.

He was in foul trouble tonight, or the minutes would have been higher, and Collins is on a tear right now. He's double-doubled in nine of his last 11 games and came into this one averaging 23.3 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.8 3-pointers on 60 percent shooting from the floor, and 67 percent shooting from the line in the month of December. He's more than living up to the hype, so congratulations are in order if you drafted him and were able to stick with him through the foot injury that caused him to miss the first 15 games of the season.
Dec 18 - 11:11 PM

Lonzo Ball went off for season-highs in points (23) and triples (5) in Tuesday's loss to the Nets, adding six rebounds, three assists, two steals and three turnovers.

He was unconscious to start this game with 11 straight points in the first quarter and finished 9-of-16 from the field. Ball is having the best stretch of his season with 13.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.8 steals, 2.0 triples and 1.0 blocks on 46% shooting with only his FT% (33%) and turnovers (2.6) holding him back. With Rajon Rondo (hand) nearing a return, Ball is heating up just in time and should be able to keep his job.
Dec 18 - 10:28 PM

LeBron James dropped 36 points in a 115-110 loss to the Nets on Tuesday.

LeBron racked up 13 rebounds with eight assists, one steal, one block, two triples and five turnovers, hitting 13-of-23 shots and 8-of-13 free throws. That's two bad losses in a row for the Lakers, and things don't get any easier with games coming up against the Pelicans, Grizzlies and Warriors. The game against the Pelicans will be particularly interesting, as LBJ has made it very clear that he would like to find a way to get Anthony Davis to join the Lakers. "That would be amazing, like, duh," James said. "That would be incredible."
