Greg Monroe has reportedly agreed to a one-year, $2.2 million deal with the Raptors.

Monroe will help bring some depth to Toronto's frontcourt, and he could be in a nice situation to produce if Jonas Valanciunas ever goes down with an injury. However, when the team is at full strength, Monroe will likely see his minutes confined to the lower-20s, which isn't really enough floor time for him to make a huge impact in fantasy hoops.

Josh Okogie will start on Saturday against the Mavericks.

The rest of the starters remain the same. Okogie will be making his first career start with Jimmy Butler resting on the second half of a back-to-back. He has yet to appear in a regular season game and figures to play a lot tonight. He's a name to keep track of if Butler were to finally be traded.

Ben Simmons (back tightness) will not return on Saturday against the Magic.

He was ruled out fairly quickly, so this is discouraging news. Simmons had neck tightness in the preseason, and maybe this is related to that. The 76ers likely will update him after the game and hopefully he can heal up over the weekend. With him out, that will likely increase T.J. McConnell's minutes the most, but Markelle Fultz and J.J. Redick also benefit while Ben is out.
Oct 20 - 8:14 PM

Kevin Knox (left ankle) went to the locker room in the first quarter on Saturday and will not return.

He was due free throws and did not because of injury, so he will not return. Knox rolled his left ankle and he did not put weight on it as his teammates helped him to the locker room. It did not look good and Knox may require some time off. The Kings will have to turn to Mario Hezonja a lot more now, so he becomes a speculative pickup.
Oct 20 - 8:10 PM

Deandre Ayton (ankle) is available to play against the Nuggets on Saturday.

He went through shootaround and based on some short video clips he looked fairly healthy. Ayton also didn't appear to have tape on his ankle when arriving at the arena tonight, so it would appear he won't have any restrictions. The Denver D did look better in the opener, but this could still be a smash spot for the rookie.
Oct 20 - 7:35 PM

Norman Powell will start at small forward to move Pascal Siakam to the bench against the Wizards on Saturday.

The Raptors will elevate Powell to the small forward spot, which could give C.J. Miles a few extra minutes in the second unit. Powell likely won't be taking as many shots in the first unit and he hasn't performed well so far this year, so he's a dart throw in a DFS lineup or a stream.
Oct 20 - 6:28 PM

Kris Dunn has been away from the team due to the birth of his son and is expected to join the Bulls in Dallas before the game.

Dunn will miss shootaround, but is still expected to be in the lineup come gametime. Cameron Payne will likely head back to the bench with Dunn back in the fold, which is a welcomed sight for Bulls fans. Ryan Arcidiacono will move back to the third point guard role. Get Dunn back in your lineups.
Oct 20 - 6:24 PM

Aron Baynes draws the start with Gordon Hayward resting on Saturday against the Knicks.

Coach Brad Stevens returns to a popular lineup from last season, starting both Baynes and Al Horford. Baynes gets a slight uptick in minutes and value, but won't see a big uptick in usage or production. Terry Rozier, Marcus Morris, and Marcus Smart will likely benefit more. However, Baynes makes for a cheap flier in DFS on Saturday.
Oct 20 - 6:08 PM

OG Anunoby will start for Kawhi Leonard against the Wizards on Saturday.

It's a new lineup for the Raptors. Anunoby and Pascal Siakam have played less than a minute together in the regular season, but they did start next to each other in a preseason game when several players rested -- Siakam went off in that game. Anunoby shifting to the three should open up more minutes for Siakam, so he looks like the better play here. C.J. Miles and Norman Powell could play more, too.
Oct 20 - 6:02 PM

JaMychal Green suffered a broken jaw on Friday and underwent a surgical stabilization procedure Saturday morning.

He is expected to miss 2-6 weeks after this surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. It's been a rough start to the season for Green with a knee issue, a shoulder problem, and now this procedure. He'll be targeting a return around Thanksgiving. Until then Jaren Jackson Jr. gets heavy minutes earlier than expected after a monster line on Friday night.
Oct 20 - 5:37 PM

John Wall (migraines) will play vs. Toronto on Saturday.

He didn't go through shootaround and he's played through migraines before. Wall looked like his old self in the opener with 26 points, and he'll likely be getting around 36 minutes again against Kyle Lowry.
Oct 20 - 5:27 PM

Dwight Howard (piriformis) will not play on Saturday against the Raptors.

He has been progressing and coach Scott Brooks was asked about it. "He's getting closer, you know, we just have to continue to give him some good work," Brooks said. Howard might be able to return next week, but given his history this could be a lingering problem. Ian Mahinmi will likely get the start again while Jason Smith, Jeff Green and Markieff Morris get a few extra minutes.
