Isaiah Thomas has agreed to a one-year deal with the Denver Nuggets at the veteran minimum, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.

The one they called the Pizza Guy is back with his old Sacramento coach, Mike Malone. The Brinks truck certainly did not back up for Thomas, which made sense after a tight free agent market and Thomas coming off a brutal 2017-18 season. The Nuggets love Jamal Murray as their point guard of the future and he's established a great rapport with Nikola Jokic and Gary Harris, so it makes sense for Thomas to come off the bench. Thomas doesn't need much time, so he could have value with 22-24 minutes. Murray loses some fantasy value with this deal.

Eric Bledsoe scored 20 points with a season-high 12 rebounds, five assists and four triples in Monday's easy 108-92 win over the Cavaliers.

He gets a 4% usage rate bump with Giannis Anetokounmpo (neck) off the floor and did all his damage in just 28 minutes. Giannis should be back for next game, but Bledsoe will continue to cruise either way with top-35 value in 9-category leagues so far. It's also safe to say that George Hill (two points in 13 minutes) won't be a legitimate threat. Khris Middleton added 16 points, seven boards, three dimes and two triples, while Malcolm Brogdon chipped in with 18 points, five rebounds, five assists and one triple.
Dec 11 - 12:11 AM

Jaron Blossomgame set multiple career-highs vs. the Bucks on Monday with 11 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, three triples and one block in 26 minutes.

He's now played 3, 17, 20 and 26 minutes in his first four games with Cleveland, and coach Larry Drew said after the game that he "needs to find a way to get him some more minutes." With the Cavs in need of warm bodies and lacking in talent, there's a real possibility that Blossomgame emerges as a fantasy asset. He's worth placing on your watch list to see if Drew keeps his word.
Dec 10 - 11:37 PM

Larry Nance notched 16 points with seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in 25 minutes vs. the Bucks on Monday.

He hit 8-of-12 shots and missed his only free throw, but the big takeaway from tonight's game is that Nance may have more minutes coming his way with Tristan Thompson leaving early with a foot sprain. Nance has played 47% of his minutes at center this season according to Basketball Reference and Thompson was averaging over 30 minutes per night, so Nance could see a nice bump in value and has been solid in four straight games.
Dec 10 - 11:26 PM

Russell Westbrook scored 12 points (4-of-18 FGs, 4-of-8 FTs) with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, and four turnovers in 36 minutes against the Jazz on Monday.

Westbrook had an ugly shooting night again on Monday, but still racked up his sixth triple-double of the season and third in a row. He's back to averaging a triple-double for the season once again. It might not always be pretty, but Russ is one of the best players in 8-cat leagues because of the sheer volume he puts up.
Dec 10 - 10:59 PM

Darren Collison dished out a season-high 17 assists vs. the Wizards on Monday to go with 10 points, seven rebounds, two steals and one triple in 38 minutes.

He was 3-of-7 from the field, 3-of-3 from the line and turned the ball three times. The 17 dimes marked the third highest total of his career, as he notched 18 and 20 with the Hornets back in 2010. Collison has reached double-digit dimes in four out of his last eight games and has been a steady mid-round fantasy value since Victor Oladipo (knee) went down. With Dipo nearing a return, Collison should still be owned but his owners should prepare for a dip in value.
Dec 10 - 10:56 PM

Paul George scored 31 points (8-of-10 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs) with three rebounds, three assists, four steals, and five 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Jazz on Monday.

This was the tenth time that George hit 4+ triples in a game this season. He's also had four or more steals six times now. He fills the stat sheet from right to left and back, which is a big reason why he's been one of the best players in fantasy basketball so far this year.
Dec 10 - 10:50 PM

Tristan Thompson has been diagnosed with a left foot sprain.

X-rays came back negative, though it's still unclear what kind of timetable Thompson is looking at. The Cavaliers have been cautious with their veterans in what has been a lost season, so maybe they shut him down for a bit. His owners should sit tight until we learn more. In the meantime, Larry Nance could really take advantage of this opportunity and had a 16-7-2-2 line in 25 minutes, while Jaron Blossomgame is a name for deep-league owners to keep an eye on as he's coming off a double-double in his fourth game with the team.
Dec 10 - 10:43 PM

De'Aaron Fox scored 25 points (8-of-16 FG, 5-of-6 FT) with six assists, four rebounds, four steals, one blocked shot and four 3-pointers in 33 minutes Monday against the Bulls.

Fox extended his double-digit scoring streak to seven consecutive games Monday night, with 16 of his 25 points being scored in the third quarter. The second-year point guard also dished out three assists in the third, and his play was a big reason why the Kings outscored the Bulls by a 36-18 margin during that 12-minute stretch.
Dec 10 - 10:43 PM

Myles Turner went off for a season-high 26 points in a 109-101 win over the Wizards on Monday, adding 12 rebounds, five blocks, two triples, one assist and one steal in 39 minutes.

In what started as a frustrated season, Turner has completely turned things around and has even been a second-round value over his past five games. "The organization came to me and said 'Your offense is gonna come, but we need you to be the best defensive player in the NBA' and I really took that to heart," Turner said. Darren Collison also said that Turner should be in consideration for Defensive Player of the Year, and he's definitely not wrong -- he leads the NBA in total blocks and is second to Mitchell Robinson in block rate. Now the real test for Turner is seeing if he can sustain this run with Victor Oladipo nearing a return.
Dec 10 - 10:37 PM

Lou Williams (sore right hamstring) will not return on Monday vs. the Suns.

He was in the locker room for a good 20 minutes before the Clippers ruled him out. Hamstring injuries can linger and the Clippers might run some tests. Assuming Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is already owners, there are no clear pickups here and the Clippers will likely use a committee approach to soak up Williams' minutes.
Dec 10 - 10:31 PM

Nikola Mirotic (sore right ankle) left Monday's game against the Celtics and did not return, prompting coach Alvin Gentry to tell reporters after the game that they will hold him out until he's healthy.

Mirotic has dealt with issues with his right ankle for quite awhile now, dating back to November. Gentry said that Mirotic is a gamer and has wanted to play through it, but it's simply not getting any better. Julius Randle will continue to see most of the work Mirotic will vacate, but Cheick Diallo, Darius Miller, and Wes Johnson will also see more minutes as long as he's out.
