Mitchell Robinson scored 17 points with 12 rebounds, three steals, six block, no turnovers and one foul in 27 minutes during a loss to the Celtics on Thursday.

He has been absolutely incredible in his time in Vegas. Robinson continues to rack up the blocks, he even has shown he can be a roll man off PNR, and he even caught an alley-oop jam off a Kevin Knox dime. General manager Scott Perry said Robinson didn't play 5-on-5 ball for 14 months, and president Steve Mills said the rookie is "an NBA-level athlete" already. If you're an Knicks fan, you have to be extremely psyched about the No. 36 pick.
Jul 12 - 6:20 PM

Myles Turner erupted once again during a win over the Bucks on Wednesday, scoring 23 points with seven rebounds, four assists, three blocks and four 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

He's on fire and he does this in a tougher matchup for bigs. Turner just looks quicker right now and he's been tremendous on weak-side blocks, helping him accumulate a whopping 3.6 per game over his last five games. Offensively, he has also picked it up lately, but it hasn't necessarily been because of a usage rate boost with Turner having an identical 20.4 usage rate with Victor Oladipo on and off the floor. Maybe it's his new ponytail or something else, but Turner looks like the fantasy stud he was two years ago again.
Dec 12 - 10:26 PM

Kemba Walker went off for 31 points, nine assists and eight rebounds during Wednesday's comeback home win vs. the Pistons.

Walker made four 3-pointers with one steal and one block tonight, while committing just one turnover in 38 minutes. The only bad news is that he shot 8-of-25 from the field and has been slumping for three straight weeks, but he made up for it with an 11-of-13 mark at the FT line. The shots will start falling and he's still racking up stats in the meantime, so owners should just bide their time.
Dec 12 - 10:15 PM

Blake Griffin returned from a rest day to score 26 points (9-of-16 FGs, 5-of-9 FTs) with 10 rebounds, seven assists, three 3-pointers and one block in 36 minutes.

Blake missed Monday's game in the second half of a back-to-back set, which was his first DNP all season. Detroit hasn't indicated that more rest days will be coming, and they don't have consecutive games until Jan. 1/2, so it's not an immediate concern. He certainly looked spry tonight with a game-high in scoring to go along with the dimes and rebounds, and he even kept his turnovers in check with just two miscues.
Dec 12 - 10:12 PM

Spencer Dinwiddie scored a career-high 39 points (11-of-18 FGs, 13-of-14 FTs) with two rebounds, five assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Dinwiddie matched his previous career-high, which was 31, against the Sixers in their last matchup. He's the second Net since 1981-82 to score 30+ points off the bench twice in a season (Orlando Woolridge - 1986/87) and the first to do it against the Sixers since Detlef Schrempf in 1992/93. Dinwiddie also set a new career-high in free throws made with 13. He's registering top-50 value in nine-category leagues over the last week.
Dec 12 - 9:48 PM

Fred VanVleet (back) will play vs. Golden State on Wednesday.

VanVleet may not be 100 percent healthy, but his contributions will be critical with Kawhi Leonard (hip) unavailable tonight. C.J. Miles, OG Anunoby and Delon Wright will also be asked to shoulder a bit more in a tough game at Oracle Arena.
Dec 12 - 9:31 PM

Kawhi Leonard (hip) will not play Wednesday against the Warriors.

He'll be missing both games of a back-to-back set here after what was thought to be a minor injury on Sunday. Leonard probably isn't going to play through too many injuries in a contract yet, and of course anytime he misses games his fantasy owners will be haunted from last season. Hopefully, he can return this weekend. With him out, Fred VanVleet likely gets another start.
Dec 12 - 9:29 PM

Robert Covington (knee soreness) is in the starting lineup against the Kings on Wednesday.

He was probable yet again, but the Wolves did hold him out on Saturday with a probable tag. He's had some right knee issues for the past couple seasons, but he shouldn't be limited in non-back-to-back sets. Fire him up everywhere and expect plenty of defensive stats in a pace-up game.
Dec 12 - 9:16 PM

Anthony Davis returned to action in the second quarter on Wednesday.

The injury didn't really look bad at all, but of course even the most minor thing will get AD a locker room trip. We'll let you know if what looked like a very minor contusion to his left quad affects him.
Dec 12 - 8:51 PM

Tyler Johnson is getting the start in Utah on Wednesday.

Goran Dragic (knee) is dealing with his nagging knee yet again, so Johnson will get a rare start -- he scored just eight in his only start earlier this year. He'll join Josh Richardson, Rodney McGruder, James Johnson and Bam Adebayo in the first unit while Justise Winslow should handle the rock in the second unit. Johnson could be worth a look for PG-needy owners, but he also has to show he can stay healthy.
Dec 12 - 8:21 PM

Hassan Whiteside (personal) will rejoin the Heat in Memphis on Friday night.

Presumably, he will be playing, and he should still be in the starting lineup despite the strong play from Bam Adebayo. The last time we saw Whiteside, he left the bench early on Dec. 4 because he said he had to go to the bathroom. Even if he starts, he'll likely have a soft minutes limit and may not close. His return would put a dent in the value of Bam, Kelly Olynyk and Justise Winslow.
Dec 12 - 8:11 PM

Jake Layman will start at small forward in place of Moe Harkless (rest) Wednesday in Memphis.

Harkless is getting the night off, and coach Terry Stotts said the Blazers will continue to evaluate how Harkless feels in back-to-back sets. Layman wasn't able to do much when Harkless was out earlier this year, and it'll likely be Evan Turner seeing most of the minutes at small forward tonight.
